Interesting one for the contrast. Simply put: the more you learn about ancient Chinese culture, the more you will learn about Japanese. One example: the concept of Shinto is inherent to a historic Chinese religious culture, that of Shinto Confucianism.
@patrickt492 жыл бұрын
Shinto is native to Japan. Confucianism is from China which spread to the rest of Asia. They were both integrated to Japanese culture but their origins are different. Buddhism is also big in Japan so why not add Indians to the mix as well?

@@missplainjane3905 My answers are below 1) Do you consider Japan as a highly developed and advanced country ? - Yes 2) How would you personally rate Japan (from culture to technology, architecture, food, local products, scenery/landscape, standard of living/quality of life, etc.) on a scale level of 1 to 10 ? culture - Western influence is hitting the core Japanese culture - 6 New generation is westernised but indeed, an avg Japanese is aware of its roots. & proud of its language traditions - 7 technology, - 8 architecture . Too much paper work for everything like government bureaucrats. 4) If you have 3 or more words to describe Japan, what would it be ? SAFE - Very safe and secure place. Fun - if you are a outdoor person. Excellent for sightseeing - Must visit for every one before they depart from planet earth but don't visit June to August - lots of heat wave warnings. Nice to see history preserved in Japan. I'd like to see something similar about Taiwan. Mao did his best to destroy all vestiges of Chinese culture and traditions. Fortunately, Chiang kai-Shek did his best to preserve these during his retreat to Taiwan - bringing with them as much art and artifacts as time would allow. This has made the CCP very jealous of Taiwan and has curbed tourism from the mainland to prevent them from seeing what a REAL China was and could be.
