@@user-po7lx5jj1r that is not true. electromagnetic catapult means the aircraft can have more fuel and a heavier load on take-off. current chinese aircraft don't need it as they are short take-off aircraft, but i am sure future aircraft will need it. besides, if is was second to last, why would they be building the type 4 with molten salt power and eletromagnetic launch capability?

Fujian has better radar and catapults. Ford is bigger, nuclear powered, and has F35. But when J35 comes, they will be more equally matched if you discount the nuclear propulsion which is of no use during the battle.

maybe Indian Navy should buy the brand new Fujian . . . a Type 003 class combined MFT iFuelCell2 powered 86,293 ton (92,045 ton loaded) multi mission (CATOBAR) aircraft carrier, designed & built in China . . . clearly it's a well thought out better designed & better built carrier . . . India's private sector equity sharing solutions can make such acquisitions possible for the navy . . . in order to fulfill Indian Navy's requirements few mods might be necessary in the Fujian, but that's for later . . . ofcourse the Chinese radar & weapon systems will be replaced with indigenous Indian ones . . . think of it as a first step to Indo-China friendship . . . as for it's air component the navy will have to modify it's naval carrier borne MIG-29KU multi role fighter interceptor for CATOBAR flight operations . . . especially the airframe's tricycle landing gear configuration that'll need some modifications, inorder to operate from CATOBAR flight decks . . .

The Fujian can easily retrofit with Nuclear powered boilers and even Shandong and Liaoning can be retrofitted. Bare in mind USA aircaft carrier are ancient Steam Ship.. Dont assume like Nuclear powered like Stark Nuclear Chest device and transmit to Nuclear Motor drive. It us just okd fashion boiling water and the steam produce run the steam plston ls and turbine as secondary harvest of steam.

Since the trial began for the Fujian Tofu-class aircraft carrier, I was anticipating a report on the rescue operation as it sinks to the bottom of the sea. According to some very insightful Indian "analysts" on WION, Chinese ships are nothing but hastily glued together card boards which sink on contact with water. I just have to visiting WION more often to watch the salvage operations.
