I’m 58 born in 62. In the 2nd grade in Wisconsin my white teacher told us that Africa is the richest continent in the world and doesn’t need any other but it’s self. That one day it will be owned by others if they don’t unite. Thank you Mrs. Clark.

I cry everyday when I see my continent being taken from under my nose. This video just brought back those tears. I love this continent. I teach every brother and sister of mine who care to listen to love this continent. To erase the foreign indoctrination that everything Africa is inferior. I tell them we'll be great one day. I tell them our generation may not be alive to see it but it will happen. Then I pray they listen. I pray they believe as I do. I'll never stop believing. Till death, I will never stop. I may not have the solution but I won't be a part of the problem. And the biggest problem is our mentality. Change that and our future leaders will be the change we seek. God help us all.

I believe mentality being the biggest problem with African people, Africa has everything to be a great continent with exception the mentality. I'm sure Africa will be a great country one day. But Africa is far behind in technology and such. Short story: I am a Professional Marketer; A big Chinese company once contacted me for the post of a country manager in Cameroon and were willing to offer 58,550CFAF($94) per month as final. Tears ran down my eyes for my continent, my efforts and what the West takes us for. Our African leaders have served Africa in the mud to the West. The truth hurts but has to be known. If Africa could know and use their potential, the world itself would be a better place. Thank you Palki for such exposure...

@Persian Lion You forgot or purposely left out the fact that it is the Chinese who are funding all of these development projects and bringing in their own Chinese workers...with little or no work given to the locals. when they do get work, it is mostly those jobs the chinese do not want. to do. These projects are NOT intended to benefit the Africans. They are for the benefit of China - which many African countries are now beginning to realize...after accumulating a mountain of debt. The Chinese provide loans and labor to African countries in exchange for mining rights. They - the Chinese - remove the gold, oil and other natural resources, then the African nations have to repay the loans. How are they going to repay those loans when they have less and less natural resources to trade with other countries. How is this economic aid? I provide loans to you, take your natural resources, then you pay me back the loan - with INTEREST. If you can't repay me, I move in and own parts of your country...the parts with natural resources, docks, ports, highways, agricultural lands upon which can be built factories, then I move my people in to control and operate said factories. What is the point in creating large beautiful cities if the majority of the people can't afford to live there. How are they going to maintain said city buildings when most of the natural resources is taken out of the country rather than being used to create products within the African countries, then trade with other countries. You get little and nothing for your raw materials, then foreign nations create products and sell them back to you at exorbitant prices. STOP being Blind Followers...ok!

@@imhoteptheunsullied3000 yeah in 1972 a guy in uganda became president and ordered all asian to leave the country and took control of their properties and donated them to locals. But within 6 month all those businesses went down because locals had no idea about any business but they just got ownership. So economy collapsed in next 13 months and crime increased. it took Uganda 22 years to just recover from that incident. The president lost the faith and so the position but most of the Indians moved to UK US India and South Africa and never went o back to India. In Tanzania many Indian were holding maximum share in big businesses but that govt asked to bring locals on the same table instead of removing Indians , so both communities reaped the benefits of unity. Even today, people of Indian origin are allowed to work in any public sector company in India and they get indian citizenship in just 11 months. 1972 was the nightmare for Asians in Uganda.

As long as the US and its western allies involve in Africa continent there will be no peace and get African people united and work together. The US and its western allies during the past decades have been go into any area, continent, and doing the "Divide and Conquer" military strategy; the US used the so called "foreign aids" to those countries and in return, the US built a military base in that country. The African countries first must be closed down and shut down all those US and its western allies' military bases the African continent. Why the US and its western allies have so many military bases in other countries?? Because the US and its western allies want to control those countries. If any countries disagree, the US and its western allies will instigate a "regime change" and caused those countries fighting against its own people and the US also benefit by selling those countries a lots of arm and made a lots of money. Furthermore, the US still wants to continue be the policeman of this world and keeps on intimate those smaller and weaker nations but not those countries have the nuclear weapons. As long as the US and its western allies involve in Africa, there will be no hope for any future developments and/or peace. If you don't believe, just look at what had happened and is happening in Libya, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Viet Nam, and Afghanistan and now at the South and North China Seas.

AFRICA have all the RESOURCES. and CHINA has ACCESS to them ALL. IS REALLY SAD!
@charbonelle
@charbonelle 3 жыл бұрын
Not really, since she didn't mention the African nations involved and mining concrssions that were made. So far the bulk of China's investments are in 20 African countries. The BRI is very important to them. As for resources, the current extraction industry will not be able to compete with the rise of 3D printed alternative materials and industrial design. This alone means that mining will be more small scale in the future and more competitive making China's consenssions obselete in the longterm.

AFRICA must unite fast and protect themselves this is another re-colonization, they need one central government. Smh
@thephoenix756
@thephoenix756 3 жыл бұрын
Africa does not need one central Government, however, it does need to integrate and use its resources [through collective bargaining] to acquire strategic technologies from the United States, the EU, China, Japan, Russia, South Korea and Israel. There are certain things that a Nation should NEVER compromise on and these non-negotiables should be enshrined in every African constitution. Non-African militaries should be prohibited from stationing their troops on African soil. Our natural resources should be Nationalised; our utilities should also be public; ports, telecommunications, farmland, the energy grid, airlines and even banks should all be public. This would all require an act of parliament, so the enterprises would be statutory corporations. These statutory companies would not be directly operated by the Government, however, they would have to abide by a State Charter and be subject to Government oversight and accountability. Borrowing money in foreign denominated currency should be illegal; most of this money is sequestered by corrupt State officials and only serves to place the Nation in debt and slavery. Our education systems should teach every student how Africa was colonised and how best to avoid this from taking place again. Regional and continental integration is essential.

@@santiagoangelsllc3026 By "capitalists" I hope you mean like Germany, the Scandinavian Nations and Japan prior to the 80s. State capitalism can help us build great wealth. We should still Nationalise our natural resources along with utilities, ports, telecommunications and other major sectors of the company. Everything else should be left to co-operatives.
