Good review. It has a beautiful opening it overall smells great. I too thought the same i couldn't smell it on me after the first couple of times I thought It became a skin scent. But after several wears and other people so smell especially the third time I might've over sprayed it...people were like woo...lol. I give it an 8 and I agree it's for special occasions

I had a bottle, I sold it. I liked it but it definitely didn’t last on ME for more than like 5 hours. I enjoyed it tho. Reminded me of Bois De Portugal by Creed

I have a bottle and love it. I love its duality as it provides me the best of both worlds - first the classy 80's feeling reminding me of Creed Bois de Portugal and some Hubigant classic. This opening I can enjoy at home and while leaving the house after 15min. it changes into a fresh classy modern drydown easily appreciated by the average crowd in the streets. This is the result when you do what you love instead of trying to please everybody ending up selling a generic uninspiring hybrid-copy like Office for Men. Dan did a great job.

exactly thats what i mentioned how the house made just one scent and it was in the vein of what style he enjoys and it may not be for everyone and that is okay with them

Gravitas is a great scent for me I’d use it most on special occasions / events in the cooler months. It’s a very mature scent for sure I’m happy i have it !

No I purchased this one, Mr Smelly did send me his second release Bon viveur though which I like better than gravitas actually. I have yet to try any of the other releases though

after getting a sample of the real Kouros (after hating the knockoff clone oil of it) I bit the bullet and just bought a full bottle of Kouros, coming in mail, it is great stuff, a must have, and I blind bought Bowling Green by Geoffrey Beene (1986) maker of grey flannel.
