@@kimberlylittle4868 Bill Gates and Elon Musk had an idea to get rich. If it's that easy, why don't you copy it?😄 In this story, China cannot copy something that does not exist. It was a simple idea, nothing more. If I had an idea that energy could somehow be generated on a planet 5 light years away and people could transport it to Earth for free, I wouldn't be a genius myself, but the inventors who would take my idea and develop it further, they must be great geniuses. If India had achieved this, it would be regarded as a great invention by the Indian army. However, when China does the same, it's often labeled as imitation and dismissed as insignificant. They actually have optical guided 50 cal bullets that can change course but the actual bullet part is 3x longer than a regular one so it wont fit a regular gun. However guiding by GPS isnt going to happen with a typical bullet because the antenna is too big to fit. This is about guiding a heavy artillery shell- yes is possible by adding a rocket motor in the back, but you sacrifice brute force power for marginal course correction ability and you cannot fire the munition through a regular rifled gun. Also the cost would be about 100x that of a conventional kinetic penetrator or He shells.
