We have laws against that. Lockheed martin/sikorsky might sell them commercial parts for the commercial line but nothing military and ITAR, EAR regulated. That's just reality. They aren't going to risk billions of dollars of contracts to sell some military parts to the taliban or a reseller that might. I've had my accounts closed by companies that got U.S. military contracts because I work internationally and things we buy get exported. For them it's not worth the risk of selling something to me that I might export that they weren't supposed to sell to me, and too complicated for them to check everything I order. So easier and safer to just kill my account and keep their govt. contract. It's taken really seriously around the world. Maybe they could get some of the Chinese made Z-20 knock off parts, no idea if those are compatible though, maybe they could get the commercial line parts, but they aren't getting anything military or weapons related. They could probably buy a decommissioned one even then they are stripped out of anything that would be regulated and sold as is for a few million dollars.

The M-16s are A-2, like what I carried 30 years ago, and the often-mentioned Blackhawks are very few (20 at most) and not in good shape anymore. The most powerful strike aircraft left behind have propellers! I don't want to nit pick, but as a Marine Corps veteran air-winger, I can recognize the tandem rotor helicopters in the hanger at 1:44 that the reporter referred to several times as (CH-47) "Chinooks" were actually CH-46 Sea Knights. The 46's were smaller, less boxy, had tricycle lading gear, and the rear wheels were on sponsons that extended from the body.

At this point if in the news they are spelling wrong some codename it does not matter much .

Looks like a Russian Mi8 helicopter at 1.32 and some parts thereafter, and those are not American. This model of helicopter can carry a total load of one pilot, one Afghan President shouting "See you later, suckers!" to the US troops that had guarded him, and suitcases stuffed with US taxpayers cash amounting to $169M. He was cautious because another $1M would have overloaded the chopper.
