I always loved that line "Look at these people, calling me evil, *right back at you.* Now you're all statues." Why does he say *right back at you?* The accusation that humanity is evil is odd, considering the rest of his character. It feels like a mask slipping. Is there spite here? Why does he say that? I haven't read everything about him, but I recall "saw his own dimension burn, misses home, and can't return" as well as he claiming to have destroyed that dimension to some extent. From the sound of things it's almost like he regrets his actions but can't undo them. Like he wanted so badly to rise above that he sacrificed things he didn't realize he cared about. He destroyed something he didn't really know that he loved, and now he's here, destroying more in some nihilistic bid to take away from others what he lost for himself. I almost wonder if what he offered to Stanford looked something like what he became. Why does he say that humanity is just as bad as him? That feels, somehow, significant.

My headcanon is that this song appeared in the series, but since Bill had control over GF from Alex from that moment on (because remember that in the weirdmageddon opening Bill Cipher signed himself as the creator), he didn't let us as viewers experience etc. What a real villain! Great animation! I liked the animatic version, but this fully animated version is so good!!! It must have taken a long time to do this. Oftentimes, people don’t know how long it takes to animate just a couple of seconds. You can’t just put two different frames and tell the computer to animate between scenes. I can tell who really knows about animating from reading some of these comments. This turned out great!
