Hi everyone! I've been getting A LOT of comments about where to get one/where I got mine. I preordered the Limited Edition Journal way back in October when they were first released (FUN FACT: I was also at Comic Con when this thing was first announced). I got it off of Amazon, which thanks to the preorder guarantee & price, I was able to get it for $90 (+$6 S&H and tax) instead of the MSRP of $150. Unfortunately, Amazon and Barnes & Noble are officially SOLD OUT. Fortunately, you have one more chance to order this book. The Mystery Shack website (run by TheMysteryofGF) will be selling around 100 copies sometime in July with extra goodies for $150. If you don't know him, this guy actually makes and sells legit Gravity Falls merch, along with some Steven Universe, Rick and Morty, Star vs. stuff. There's still a limited amount, but this will be the very last chance to get one before they all sell out and you have to rely on shady ebay scalpers who are gonna charge you like double or triple the original price. And no one wants to rely on a shady evil scallop scalper. Good luck dudes!!

I unfortunately didn’t get into the series until about a month ago so I missed out on getting the fancy special one. I work at Barnes and Noble tho, so I was able to get the regular version fairly cheap, so I think I’m going to modify the regular version to make it as close to the special on as possible. I’m gonna copy and print the photos so they look like they’re actually there, distress the pages and make my own book mark and monocle, I’ll honeslty probably try to copy the invisible ink pages myself too. Idk thought I’d share for people who wanted the special one but couldn’t get ahold of it. It’ll be a fun project to work on c:

I had to end up watching this video since I got conned by amazon. Pre-ordered it when it was announced, and on release date it was not sent, and instead placed on a further date. When that second date arrived, it showed up as "no available date". When I finally went to ask, they told me they never had gotten stock, and that they were "waiting for stock". I don't think they precisely got the memo that it was a limited edition. When Alex said all copies were sold, I knew there was no hope. I got my money back, yes, but I didn't want the money back I wanted the book. Eugh. Just venting a bit, I needed to say this somewhere.

Because it was recovered from the way it was last remembered by everyone, came back as how it was shown in the show. I've got one of the earlier versions of the standard edition and a big part of the pages got loose at school so I just glued them back in (thank god I Always take glue with me to school...you never know...). It took a while and a lot of glue to get them back in but luckily my journal seemed to take the glue very well. You could try glue but I'm not sure if it will work out as well for you as it did for me.

My friend has the limited edition journal, (cost like a grand lol) and recently the bookstore i work at got the regular one in as a special order someone no longer wanted, so i’m gonna be buying that this weekend for only about 40 dollars which for something that has almost the exact same content as the grand one i’m pretty happy with. That's what I thought too, but it is written in his handwriting. My guess would be after Weirdmageddon, for those couple of day he's has all 3 journals after they were found fully restored. The letter might have been lost during the series, and restored when the journals were in the end, which would explain why he didn't decode it until all was said and done. Since it directly mentions Bill possessing Blendin, he would have been VERY confused if it were any sooner haha
