Gideon is actually 8 years old. In the journal, it said Gideon found the amulet under a playground and it caused his hair to turn white and made him evil.

I heard theories about him being a vampire and actually older than he actually is. When they go back 12 years, it states Gideon was born not that long ago, we see him in a baby carriage with white hair. And there was the promotion for the “Wittlest Wampire” film Dipper and Wendy saw. Dipper even said maybe Mabel’s next love will be a vampire. I don’t know if it was actually planned or just inconsistencies within the show.

You know the creator, Alex Hirsch, actually had a hard time getting the "Dude from Kentucky" gag into the episode because it sounds so similar to the famous dirty rhyme "Man from Nantucket.". Extra funny because he just changed the words from man to dude in the aired version.

I wanna make sure you guys are watching the outros even if offscreen. They’re very VERY important going forward. 5:49 Sheriff Blubs is voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson. He’s a VERY recognizable voice. Remember Chestnut from Chowder? Dinkaloo, dinkalee, KMR is who he be. 13:56 “That’s really dark.” Trust me, you’ve got no idea how this show can get. Gideon is based off those persuasive and shady televangelists. He’s voiced by Thurop Van Orman, the creator of The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack. Fun fact: Alex Hirsch (creator of Gravity Falls), Pendleton Ward (creator of Adventure Time) and JG Quintel (creator of Regular Show) all originally worked on Flapjack. Cartoons in the 2010’s owe a lot to that show. 31:19 Originally, one of Wendy’s exes she was listing off was gonna be female, confirming Wendy’s bisexuality. Disney, being the prudes they were/are, turned that down. Alex Hirsch confirmed after the show, Wendy is indeed bi. So pretty neat.

These 2 episodes are still some memorable and hilarious to this day. Watching ‘Headhunters’ made me imagine I was a detective trying to figure out who the culprit was, which is also ironic since there were multiple culprits and the leader was ‘Sherlock bleeding Holmes’ (I cant get enough of his voice🤣)Who knew there would be sword fighting😮. I’m impressed and shocked that Dipper, a child, was successfully parrying Sherlock’s attacks. There’s also a hidden theme in the episode that the people who are re-watching this episode and also ‘Gobblewonker’ should know what I mean *wink wink*. Also Duck-Tective is a show that I would binge-watch if it existed. My favourite part was Sherlock Holmes character kuz British accent, especially him saying ‘Outsmarted by a kid in short pants’ and You sneeze like a kitten’ what truly legendary lines to go out with imo.🤩 The type of villain that they made Gideon fits so well with the show. Cute and being short so you could make fun of him but them realise his darker side to make you feel terrified but also paralysed when you see him have a similar book to Dipper. The reactions must have been crazy back then (I was 6 at the time so I don’t remember mine). I’m pretty sure he’s younger than the twins and seeing two children have a battle resulting in Dipper nearly getting chopped in half and punching each off a cliff made me think whether this show was Disney🤔. I wish they kept the tie too, such a cool power. But you’ll see much bigger and crazier stuff in the future episodes as it won’t be the last you see of ‘whittle ol him’👿🖤. My favourite scene was Stan escaping with the painting 🏃🏽‍♂️when he still had a chance to claim something.
