​@@Catnap-xi4ng I'm actually not so sure. Keep in mind that in the prior episode, Dipper made Gideon realise he couldn't make Mabel love him. He could only "try to be someone worthy of being loved". That hit home. And it stuck. Gideon turns around, and delays bill long enough for dipper to free Mabel. Then when Dipper And Mabel arrive with the rescue party, they break Gideon out of the prison Bill had him in, and eventually save the town. Gideon doesn't magically become good. Ultimately, he does what he does only after Dipper says he'll tell Mabel what happened. He's still doing it for his own desires, not necessarily because it's right. But it's a start. He's walking down a new path, becoming a different person. And it was Dipper who showed him where that path could start. Not Mabel. So maybe, he's actually signing it for Dipper: the boy who opened his eyes.

I just realized how amazing the birthday scene was. Everyone who’s lives were changed by Dipper and Mabel’s arrival were there. If the twins never came to Gravity Falls, nothing would have changed. Stan would continue looking for his brother until his death, Soos would have continued living with his grandma and not having a girlfriend, Wendy would have continued being in the bad relationship with Robby, Pacifica would continue being the bratty girl she was, Gideon would have continued being the psychopath he was and having the bad relationship with his parents, McGucket would have still be insane(he became a little more sane at least lol). There’s still more examples. The only good thing that would come out of them not going to Gravity Falls would be that the whole Weirdmageddon event and Bill Cipher could have been avoided, but still, they defeated him. That scene and the entire series was a masterpiece!

14 year old me stumbled on to this and was instantly hooked to it, this show was my time waster and was the shit. 2 years later, 16 year old me still watches this until the end was very very satisfied that I watched a show that had episodes that were really worth to watch. 2 more years later, 18 year old me started getting memories of this show that starts to come back, making me want to watch every episode again. 2:15 Just watched the final episode of Owl House. Gravity Falls, Amphibia, and now Owl House hold a place in my heart. Each took places for the characters to be tested by a villain that threatened the lives of those they cared about. In the end, they reach a conclusion and resolution. At the end of these shows, they give the audience an implication that an ending isn't truly an end. It's a beginning. Leading the characters to grow afterward. Despite them being an animated show makes me sad. They felt believable. Yet they weren't. Hard to find good shows on Disney that pull on my emotions. Thanks to anyone who reads this.

As a kid I never got to watch season 2, so the first season is extremely nostalgic but I never knew the full story. So as an adult I decided to watch the entire show again, just finished. The show is famous for the story and righteous so, but the constant comedy in every minute is truly amazing. What a show, I don't consider this a nostalgic kid show anymore, this is my favorite cartoon of all time.
