It's impossible to run this at 60 fps without sacrificing too much, even on a ps4 pro. Only a pc with a good cpu can handle this but it is a console-only game

i have been noticing that the frame pacing on pc is much worse than on console when playing at 30fps. I tried locking gta 5 and arkham knight at 30fps and both of them were barely playable and appeared jittery as hell where as on console they appear much smoother due to having much better frame pacing. This issue though is only present when locking the fps @30, when its at 60fps it runs as smooth as it should

If you have an nvidia card, I suggest you use nvidia inspector to cap the frame-rate instead of RivaTuner or any other program. I've noticed RivaTuner to work really well for most games, but it can cause frame-pacing problem in some games. Anyways, using nvidia inspector will give you consistent frame-rate with 0 frame-pacing problem.

That's misleading, Rich. If the resolution was bumped down to 1080p on this, it might be able to run it at that framerate. I can't say for sure, though, as we don't really have the ability to benchmark the game. Looking forward to Nioh at 60fps, which actually has that option, though. And yes, I have a PC, too.

I think it all depends on the developers and if they prefer higher res or fps, or in some cases put in the time to give us the option to choose, which should become a standard for the pro

PS4 Pro is a premium system that people paid an extra 100-150 dollars for, and support for it is basically just a grab-bag of features that aren't consistent between games or even publishers. It's absolutely ridiculous. How difficult is it for every upcoming game to have these options for PS4 Pro: PS4 Original, 1080p 60FPS, High Detail 1080p 30 FPS, 4k 30/60 FPS It's 2017 and games are STILL being made in archaic manners like tying physics and animations to intended framerate.

I have a standar ps4 and I platinum this game I love it, the only part where framerate drops faster than kat in jupiter style is in a side mission "find the idol 2" where you should be followed by 100 NPCs which unlock a challenge which I manage to be follow by over 100 NPCs and frame rate goes to hell. but I understand all the processing involved.

After playing the demo on a base PS4, I was disappointed with the framerate in the starting area and decided to wait on the game. Coming from the 60fps remaster, it was wayyyy too jarring. But after seeing that they fixed a lot of the problems, I'm definitely going to buy it now, so thanks!

I love the Cell Shaded art style, it also works well with Xenoblade Chronicles 2 on the Switch. It creates a clean and good looking game that has good performance etc, not every game should aim for photo-realism etc.

The art alone in this game trumps any kind of technical analysis, which I feel is kind of reductive for games like this. Is that giving so called "art games" a free pass? Maybe. But you still have to marvel at the wonderful visual style of this game and put aside pixel counts and framerate aside for the moment.

Looks amazing, but I so wish you could have the option to have this game run at 60. Even an unstable 60 would be fine as long as it runs from 50-60. Also having played gravity rush remastered and gravity rush 2, I felt some input delay when it comes to certain moves. Only played gravity rush 2 for an hour, everything but the float and gravity fall commands have had some input delay. It's not a lot, but it felt a little more laggy compared to gravity rush remastered. I did not feel right to me

The only noticeable framerate drops for me is whenever that giant arm starts appearing out of some kind of black hole in Auldnoir. But holy hell other than that this is probably one of the most optimized ps4 game I ever play. This game is criminally underrated because its exclusivity, transition from vita to ps4, and Sony's poor marketing. I will never forgot the first time I accidentally discovered the poor district, truly one of a kind game.
