Loved the laid back style of your video. It’s been two months since you hit the prototype. You still planning to give the retail version a demo when it comes out in a week? I’ll receive a retail racket next week. Can’t wait to finally try it!

Lots of buzz about this one. Just for reference - what frames do you usually gravitate to? What do you like the feel of? It's different if you say this feels great coming from something like a Pure Drive or a Prestige. Thanks for the review mate.

@@jamestan4165 I currently play with the 2021 Speed Pro 360+…1999-2007 I used mid plus Radicals and played with Speeds from 2008 I think it was-2014…so I always played with 18x20 apart from 2yrs in there I used the original 100sq Extreme Pro 16x19, didn’t like that feel anywhere near as much as the Speed though …7yrs off court completely then a brief few hits in 2021 when I bought the 360+Speed Pros, another 3yrs off court brought me to 2024 when I tried a bunch of different racquets after watching KZbin videos on ‘one handed backhand racquets’ lol..so I fell in love with the Extreme Tour and the the 2023 Prestige Tour then got the new Extreme Pro before going back to my 360+ Speed pro and now ordered the Speed Pro Legend, ultimately finding the Speed far more comfortable on my arm and I did miss that denser feel…Prestige Tour also gives that denser feel with the 95sq head but it’s a bit demanding in matches for me…Really I was expecting to not like this open pattern so much on the Gravity Tour but maybe the really loose strings played a part in that great feel..

Did you play with it over multiple days? Would be interesting to see how your fingers / wrist / arm /shoulder feels then as I had serious enough problems with the regular Gravitys Also as you play with Head Extreme that has 16x19 why would you want this racquet to have any different string pattern?

@@TheTennisDaddythat’s good to hear. Although I’m playing better than ever with GP since my strokes have improved and are faster, I have to believe that me being to move it even faster given the lighter SW will lead to more power overall. @@bigdaddy812 It’s tough to switch if you’re playing better than ever now with the GP but certainly worth a try, You may find more balls fly with the higher launch and that’s my conflicting issue between it and the Speed Pro in which probably similar the the GP, I always get a predictable launch so I don’t know if I’ll be a bit more erratic with the Tour 98…Still want to but one🤣🤣🤣
@bigdaddy812
@bigdaddy812 16 күн бұрын
@@TheTennisDaddyyea, I noticed I hit more erratic long balls than with my GP. But maybe it’s just and adjustment period I have to go through. I love the quicker movement through air and it does remind me of the speed and the feel/paint of the prestige pro. My backhand is better as I can turn it easier than the GP. Perhaps I can play with the Tour against equally or less skilled players than me and against better players I can use the stability and predominant the GP.

Btw - did you try it against a heavy hitter? Curious if it’s stable at 305 g vs a heavy hitter? I just played against a 5.5 and was able to hold my own with the GP so wondering if this lighter weight would be an issue with stability.

Was able to blast a few bomb winners and aces - absolutely loved it. As much as I love my GP, I feel like switching to something that’s just easier to use and that no one in the city has (prototype) and the fact that it looks gorgeous - makes it a no brainer. Yep talking about the ‘feel’ really, the feel was unreal but like I said, I wonder if it was just because the strings were so loose, I might be getting it again later this year so I’d like to string it fresh..Struggled a bit keeping backhands down mainly at the start when I didn’t time it well or commit to being more technically sound(I’m a lazy mover and hitter basically)whereas in my Speed Pros I don’t get that launch so often even if I’m lazy

@@TheTennisDaddy For me there is a difference between feel and outcome. I have noticed that since I have started filming myself during rackettesting. Rackets of whom I thought felt great, produced more misses than normal. I only saw that on video, did not notice it when hitting. It is weird, but is almost feels to go against your gut feeling. Switching rackets pure on video-analysis made my level go up.
