This is so great Daniel. Did you use the same code :D ?? They look just as skittish and jerky.

I just googled it and basically used the first thing I ran across. I'm no expert when it comes to the code stuff, but I did make a couple tweaks to the code. I chose different IO pins. I changed the multiplier for two of the Arduino's timers because the motors were making annoying ringing sounds from the default PWM frequency. I just experimented until I got the best frequency and the best motor speed values for my setup. Here's a pastebin link to the code I came up with which includes the original website I found the code on. Maybe I got lucky and that is the same code you used? pastebin.com/PVtPmSKV Also, P.S. When you rebuild your laser cutter, if you haven't already, check out using the new LightBurn software instead of our old friend VisiCut. I've been using LightBurn on my Smoothieboard since January and it is soooooooo nice, I love it. Not free but real cheap, like $40. Basically nothing compared to the $4000 I spent building my laser. My laser build is documented here with photos and a Bill of Materials google sheet which shows exactly all the parts I bought, where from and how much they cost. lasermandan.wordpress.com Can't wait to see the Retina Smelter 9001 be reborn from the ashes! :-) Let me know if you ever have any questions. P.P.S. I can totally see my package I sent sitting in your living room in the background of your videos for months. It's killing me. LOL
