I viewed your other video about covering gray and I bought a Demi permanent and did it myself and it covered so well. OMG. I had no idea. My gray is strong and the semi permanent was not doing it Thank you

It’s HARD to find a great stylist! Particularly one who doesn’t rush and knows what they are doing. With that being said I’d rather do the color myself. I have been doing henna for the past 5 months and I cannot take the process anymore. You said you used the CHI Shine line? I just want to cover the gray and not die from the chemicals!! Can I send you pics of my hair?

Hey Smack NYC! I totally understand how you feel. Keeping your color is a true process. Yes it was Chi Shine Shades, However depending on your color you may be a candidate for a Demi permanent hair color. Seeing your hair would be more helpful.

I’m blonde with black and grey roots and I just want it gone! What should I do!!!??? It grows so fast so coloring every month is definitely out!!!
@QLovesHair4 жыл бұрын
Hey Lady Edwards! I know the feeling. What do you want gone? The blonde or the gray? If the blonde, that's a little more technical. The gray is showing up every single month unfortunately.

QLovesHair I want the gray goneeeeeee lol

@@MzLadyDee1 you can still bleach your roots and use a blonde demi color to cover the grey and tone the brass but I wouldn't recommend doing both in one day because it might irritate your scalp. Even color can mildy burn/itch/sting if your scalp is feshly washed, and since bleach has about a pH of 9-9.5, your chances of irritation are higher if you apply color stronger than a semi directly after it.

Hi Thanks for the tips on covering gray hair. Can Henna Indigo cover gray hair?
@QLovesHair4 жыл бұрын
Hey Robbi! I'm not sure. I don't have experience with henna. Let me know what you find out.

Hi, I ran across your video looking to cover gray that is stronger across the hairline and about 1/2 inch wide. It's so annoying because I have to color every few weeks. I didn't want to use permanent because I thought it would damage my natural hair and so over been using a powder that I just add water to and I just want to do something that lasts longer without going to black. So I saw your video on covering gray while lightening the hair ends. Im thinking about lightening to a brownish tone with darker roots. I didn't catch the name of ther product you showed. Qi shining color?? Could you please post where to get it. And ther colors used, were there 2 or just one color? Thanks for your hello.

Hi and thank you for your comment! Coloring gray hair can be a nightmare because it keeps growing! You don't have to use permanent. You can use a Demi-permanent. It's more gentle on the hair but does shampoo out in about 12-24 shampoos. The color line I used is CHI Shine shades. You can now get it at Sally's. I used two colors on her because we want a blended color that grows out well. I used a full gray coverage color mixed with a regular coverage color. This can get confusing, so it may be better to consult your stylist. Going lighter is a good idea because it lessens the harshness of the gray roots and the rest of the hair. Good luck to you!
