I think Brennan Johnson will blow-up this season. He has an xGA of 20 but got 15. But he underperformed his xG by 5 goals. By having a full pre-season, he is year older and he knows the system better. I really think he will be outstanding!

I have always rated him when people were slating him. He has always injected energy and intent into the squad when he comes on, and not connecting was because everyone is still adapting to the system. I agree, he will break out this year.

The thing I love about Alice is the way she delivers content. The graphic overlay which covered the positions & alternates is an example. It's not rocket science but takes a lot of work to provide effective simple clarity. She also talks so fast you get 30 minutes of content from a 15 min video. I voted for Alice & Chis in the content awards as they are wonderful. I probably would have also voted for Mr Gold, but think he would have been vaguely embarrassed.

So impressed with your analysis. You mentioned a winger, you have left out Spurs' Manor Solomon who is 24 but has been injured for all but the first part of the season. Also Alfie Dorrington, a centre back and Alfie Devine, an attacking midfielder, both of whom are 19. Of course you may not rate them as high as the others but Dorrington has been part of the Under 21's Premier League 2 champions. I think Mikey is pronounced Mykey...

Thanks for this Alice, like other Spurs fans, I enjoy your content because your obviously live and breath football and you get a lot of information out in short space of time.(in Australia we have a saying)”you could talk with a mouth full of marbles” Re the incoming players and academy players coming through I’m really excited. Once Postecoglue gets the players he wants. Bergvalle and Gray are brilliant young players with Doue(if we get him) the missing piece is an and out lethal striker. I can’t see a better fit than Ivan Toney. Another option than Foster in goal is also important. Viccario was great (hopefully working on his physicality under crosses) but he can’t play every game. I’m sure Ange will have a plan. Love your work. I think maybe you have a soft spot for Spurs✌️

I think Kulusevski will be a number 9. I said as much some time ago. He has the ability to do it. Johnson I think will be better from wide cutting in as he doesn’t quite have the strength but he could be a good player in future.

I would love spurs to try a 3-4-1-2 type of formation with the talent we've got. Alleviating that desperate need for a 9 with the 2 tops (Son and Richy/Kulu/Johnson etc), making use of the 3 CBs (Romero, VDV, Dragusin), and stuffing the midfield.

kind of agree with Udioge and Porro as wing backs they'd offer enough width too and it's where they both mainly played before coming to Spurs too. The only problem is if one of the CBs got injured as there's no cover behind them unless they go to Phillips or Dorrington which it doesn't seem like they'll do this season. Would be interesting if they at least give it a go in one of the pre-season games though. It might also be why Postecoglu has said multiple times he wants to get another CB in too

Alice, I'd be playing all the youngsters. Veliz should be kept at Tottenham and not loaned out. Hojberg has seen better days and the Germans proved that in their clash with Denmark. Give Lo Celso a lifeline and free up spaces. Please give Phillips a go. Blood all the youth and give them opportunities both in Europe and the Cups.

Most of all we need to sign a left-sided CB who can provide cover for van de Ven and also cover for LB (unless Ange thinks one of the youngsters can do the job). This is because Ben Davies is getting a bit long in the tooth .... and we conceded many goals last season.

I see Zirkzee more as a second-striker (similar to Havertz at Leverkusen) and surely he hasn't been signed to just be rotation. He could have gone to AC Milan to be there starting 9 but he chose United so surely he will be expecting to start...
