I’m also of mature age and I don’t like to see my scalp unless I part it. I notice my hair has gotten thinner around the crown since I’ve gotten older, so I don’t twist my hair tightly or do too much manipulation. I’ve seen what that can do; and it ain’t pretty. Also, I use no gel and braid any loose hair that grows away from the locs around each loc. Enjoying your journey.👍🏾
