I am a silver loc sister also I have micro locs with the braids because my hair is so fine, my consultant said the braiding method would be better for me so I did it.. been eight months and it’s doing well but I wish I had all salt hair but I have a lot of pepper in the mix.. your hair is beautiful.

I am on my second set of locs. My first set took over a year to loc completely. Keep doing what you are doing.it will loc eventually. They look amazing.

Hi Linda. I too am a silver loc sister. Very glad to see there is someone on here to represent us. I have been locked for over a year. I had the issue with some of my locs unraveling after a wash for the first 4-5 months. What I did was to use gel on those locks to loc them and they will eventually fall in line and do what they need to do. Our silver is stubborn and can have a mind of it's own, but you will get where you need to go with it. I too am loving my loc journey and my hair is thriving and growing. I know yours will do the same with time. Keep going sis, you are doing great!
