I love your format! Explaining the commander, moving through each card type, and covering the deck stacks. All clear and well paced. Nice work. Keep these budget EDH decks coming!

Very nice breakdown. Clear view of how the deck functions 👌

Another good one, getting the rules clarification makes the content that much more valuable. This one is probably very tricky to play. I've considered building it because I like the theme but committing to the board and playing mass removal is an awkward tension.
@GrazzetMTG3 жыл бұрын
I wanted to make sure everyone had at least surface level knowledge of some of the possible interactions, to help avoid some rules conflicts when at the table. And yeah, I can see where the tension could come in if your playgroup knows that about 30% of your deck is removal. Still, the deck has some key weaknesses that can be exploited (Bad at rebuilding, doesn't present a huge board state, etc) and doesn't win out of nowhere, so I think its a bit more "fair" than other decks they could be facing.

This is just an amaizing deck guide. All about this is very well done, even background art for each section is good! I don't know what even could make it better, maybe only full test game-preview of a deck, because... again, there is everything, even variants to slot other cards if someone want. Soooo good content, I watched Kardur's one first and this two videos was just an amaizing experience. Maybe someone couldn't get behind "non-hyped" voice manner, but I like it too. So, again - amaizing content and cool decks! Pressed like and subscribe on instant speed!

Have to say, this deck is really neat! I’ve copied it mostly, made some small changes. My friends absolutely hate this deck. The amount of board wipes and big stompers are really fun to play with! Thanks for the video. It’s a great template for a giant tribal deck with aegar leading them. Love your other decks as well, really well-made, cheap starting points for a variety of strategies :)

Are you still playing the deck? Was testing it a bit online and it was pretty fun, unboxed today the sweet new alt art so was thinking of pulling the trigger on it irl! Would love to have your updated list considering the original video is from 2 years ago

Hey, I've built this deck for a casual crowd and used this video as a guide, it was very helpful! I'd like to suggest Forbidden Orchard as an auto-include with Aegar, it always provides an overkill target.
@GrazzetMTG Жыл бұрын
That is a very good point! And seeing that Forbidden Orchard is currently under $5, it should be a easy enough include to provide the build with even more card advantage through our commander. Good suggestion!

My brother built a budget Aegar deck similar to this. It works surprisingly well for being so budget

Not sure if this makes me a bad boy because it's not exactly synergistic but years before this was released I decided to do a Kalemne, disciple of Iroas giant tribal deck and I like it a lot. Suprisingly the white direct support for giants may be lacking overall with only two easy to get cards being Kithkin great heart which is a 2/1 for 1W but gets +1/+1 and first strike if we control a giant effectively making it a 3/2 first strike for only two mana and the other card is the adventure giant Ream-cloaked giant/cast-off which I think every MTG player knows what that card it but to make up for the lack of support white definitely has some very powerful giants to offer such as grasping giant, Kalemne's captain and hundred handed one just to name a few and yes I play all of them in my personal giant deck. The fact that I'm part scottish and this was my first ever Boros deck I ever built back in 2007 and converted it to a commander deck gives this deck a very big soft spot for me and the fact it was a Christmas gift from my now deceased aunt means it also has sentimental value for me. I do hope to get get some support from others for playing Boros giants as it is fun.

Just so you know Chandra torch of defiance wouldn't proc aegar with her minus 3 or emblem since either her or her emblem is doing the damage not a spell giant or wizard
@GrazzetMTG3 жыл бұрын
Fair enough, this was a oversight on my part but I still like Chandra in the Planeswalker slot for the impulse draw and ramp she provides. But still, thanks for bringing this to my attention.

With the high cmc of Giants, cards like Nahiri's Wrath or Interpret the signs could be useful. Nice deck. Your videos are pretty cool.
@GrazzetMTG3 жыл бұрын
Good call on those - Nahiri's Wrath can certainly help us unbrick from pulling high cmc giants into our hand in the early game by turning them into damage & Interpret the Signs can draw us a huge amount of cards (though the CMC is quite high)
@Helpfulhelp3 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately Toralf does not trigger from excess damage in general. Only noncombat damage such as spells would trigger it. Still a good include if you have enough board wipes. Just wanted to clear that up. Edit: Toralf aside, a good recommendation for this deck is serendib sorcerer. It has a tap ability that make and opponents creature 0/2 till end of turn, this can help guarantee the elimination of a threat and trigger of your commander
@GrazzetMTG3 жыл бұрын
Good catch! Looks like this was not expressed clearly when recording the audio, which is my bad. Still, he is a good include in this build due to all our sources of AOE damage and damaged based removal that he can further able.

Well, maybe the first session of attack on titan when the Titans were actually scary at any rate, And he less said about that ending the better.
