My logic was this: radius A is a some number between 2 and 3 because 2^2 = 4 and 3^2 = 9 Therefore diameter A is a number between 4 and 6 diameter B is some number between 3 and 4 (3^2 = 9, 4^2 = 16) Therefore radius B is a number between 1.5 and 2 A: r = 2-3 , d = 4-6 B: r = 1.5-2, d = 3-4 A must be greater than B. I don't know if this would always work but seemed to work here.

Root 14 is greater than root 7. so, the answer should be B not A
@gmatbuddy62912 жыл бұрын
it's radius vs diameter. Column A the diameter will be root 7 x 2 vs. Column B the diameter is root 7 x root 2. 2 vs. root 2, A is greater

If A and B indicate circle then A is greater. Otherwise B is greater.

But b is 3.x and a is 2.x b is greater

Failed the question! Diameter vs radius. 2.x is > 3.x/2
