There are many versions of the "musical." There's the original broadway version, the movie version, and the revival version which includes music from the movie. They were most likely doing a rendition of the revival version.

my theatre company did this in 12 days, and we were able to do all of it, not just part of it like this. i don't mean to sound bigheaded, but i think ours was better, maybe not props, scenery-wise, but talent-wise. this one's good tho :)

The girl dancing with Danny at the prom was ChaCha. She is Kenickie's date but she dances with Danny for the contest. :-) Hope I helped x x

Yeah neither is 'Sandy', a lot of schools just tend to add them in because people are familiar with them because of the film. I too am disappointed with the lack of hand jive though.

It wasn't Rizzo it was ChaCha DiGregorio. ChaCha originally goes with Kenickie and dances with Danny for the HANDJIVE contest, they aren't actually attending the prom together. :-) x x

Uhh...they don't even explain how Danny and Cha-Cha got together... Maybe it's just me but the scripts are different as well. I understand that it was shortened up, but it's a pretty short musical to begin with.
