i just got this monitor. a few days ago and first thing first its really awesome. Upgraded from a MSI mag 240hz ips and i wanted something that was as clear in motion and as colour accurate. The Asus its an upgrade for sure. Super clear in motion and no weird artifacts and maybe you lose a tiny bit of micro detail in really fast moving objects in games but who cares like i said its just a very tiny bit. Also, I'm in a dark room all the time with minimal sunlight/light and doesn't blind me to get the results I'm looking for and the blacks is also darker than my previous MSI that i mentioned earlier. it just does things so well for the minute Con. the stand! i love that its stand is also has a small footprint on my desk so there's less clutter. although, it would've been nice with a more powerful usb type c port so i can charge my phone with it quicker but still works just fine. Cant wait to get a ps5 so i can have that same experience with console gaming because that 120hz 1440p 5.7ms with no ghosting seems so nice, also just so nice knowing that it can achieve that even without it being a hdmi2.1. Thanks for the review I'm very happy with my new monitor! its ultra fast, the colours are accurate and vibrant, and takes up minimal desk space 🤠thought id write a long message about it for anyone wondering about it from a consumer POV, and appreciation for Monitors Unboxed sees it because the work is actually goated and to say to Monitors Unboxed and big thank you again. alright, I'm done glazing 🤣 ✌✌✌

The monitor is really cool, the sample I got was great, it didn't light up in the evening, there were no dead pixels (checked when buying), and the loops are barely noticeable. The pros are described below, as for the cons, we can say that the moniker is for one person, watching movies together in the evening is not the best option, at angles of more than 30 degrees, the saturation and contrast drop (typical for VA and also rounded), I had to return it. Also, the coating, I would say not matte, but semi-matte, compared to the old IPS, it reflects more. Advantages: Very smooth and clear picture, no highlights, loops are minimal, high-quality case materials, stable and functional "leg", good kit, convenient program for settings. Disadvantages: At angles of 30-40 degrees, the saturation/contrast already begins to fall sharply

You need to do a video on the awful quality control that is plaguing the monitor industry. What's the point of watching reviews to select a product to buy only to find that almost every unit from every brand has backlight bleed and dead pixels and so do the units delivered as replacement after RMA headaches. Unless you spend $1300 on EIZO products you are playing lottery at every price point from $250-$600. This needs to stop.

2nd unit arrived, after having issues with the first. Colour accuracy is worse on this unit (sRGB) in both sRGB mode and sRGB colour space. Poor contrast, 900:1 180hz still has issues, screen randomly going black for no reason, anything 165 and below is fine. (2070 Super and latest Nvidia drivers) Emits coil whine (both units) when the screen goes off, thankfully its not present at standby or when the screen is in use. Overall, disappointing. Doesn't match or better my 5 year old AD27QD.

There seems to be a new offering from ASUS ROC that appears to be an enhancement of XG27ACS. In the states at Best Buy and Amazon you can see an updated version of what I believe is a next iteration XG27ACMG ... It seems like the ACS but now with HDMI2.1 plus Aura some sort of RBG software as it looks like they added some RGB accents to the stand. Also, not sure, but I think the USB-C spec increased for wattage. They claim 270Hz but i think its overclocked. Has anyone seen the product yet? Looks like they also slashed the price for the ACS in the US for the Black Friday sale and are selling them all out in a fire sale !

I own the MAG 274QRF QD E2 after swapping from the M27Q-P. It's a much better monitor but would love to see that compared with this as you noted it was better than the original MAG QD but on paper the E2 has better color. Also note that the QD E2 has KVM and 65W PD which this monitor does not have.

Was able to buy this monitor a few weeks ago and man going to 1440p from 1080 has been amazing. What really sold me was the out-of-the-box premium you can get with this monitor. Haven't really been able to test the responsiveness nor the color accuracy but I have been running the sRGB mode with no complaints. Having the audio-jack has been the biggest QoL feature over the slot for the smartphone. Bezels are thicker than the AOC 24G2 (2019) I was running on previously but the upgrade was definitely worth it. I'm grateful for the review HUB, would've totally ignored this for the more expensive LG options if not for this review! Cheers!

i want to get it but some reviews are mentioning harsh grainy matte coating on the display. is the matte coating on this display good? is it a little grainy/fuzzy on white or light colors? a weird kind of "sheen" or "grain" on the whole screen that is mainly only visible on white or mostly white screens, like on KZbin, or after opening a new tab. It's sort of hard to explain. It looks like there's a thin film of Vaseline on the screen, causing it to look smudgy. does it look like that for you? also are you satisfied with it overall?
@Operation-Overlord5 ай бұрын
@@Kian_Farasat Mine doesn't look like that. Very much satisfied overall personally. Ideally you'd try to compare it to the MSI 27QPF-QD or the LG 27GP850 and see if they're around the same price in your region. ~If its the only option available, I think it's worth taking the risk cause there's nothing else you could be getting now~ Currently the price has gone up now in my region so it's about the same price as the LG. It beat both these monitors in almost all cases and has variable overdrive. And it has slightly above average contrast ratio relative to other ips monitors. Basically if you looked at anything bright, like white background websites or even clouds in a game, you could see like some residue on it.
