Great 8: Bagels

Never say no to a visit to Katz Bagels!! I remember stopping in there with my Dad on a Saturday morning back in the 70's. He'd pick up a dozen assorted and I'd get either the Pizza Bagel or the Bagel Dog....then of course as I grew up, I'd try to duplicate those Saturday morning runs for the best bagels! When I come home now....if they are open, I'll grab the rental car and make a quick run to Katz.

You need to check out Elizabeth’s bagels in Franklin Ma and Alex’s bagels in longmeadow MA. I haven’t found anything better outside of NY/NJ

As a picky eater who grew up in Newburyport and loved Abraham's, I have only just now become aware of their meatlovers' sandwich. Since my palate unlocked in my late teens, I'm gonna have to check it out again, aren't I?
