I am amazed when people do "review"-s of an audio product and dont test their real life frequency range or other vital performance qualities

I think Logitech might have fixed the noise issue. I've seen allot of people complain about the noise issue from like 2016 and older models. On mine I can turn the volume all the way up and only get a slight hiss.
@CodrinNovacescu8 жыл бұрын
I bought the Z533 and I was hyped, initially, but after only 2 days of use, the volume control broke, as it blocks the left speaker and the knob became harder to rotate. Also, the subwoofer creates a high pitch noise when turned off, which is very disturbing, especially during the night. Audio quality is very good, though. Too bad for it, I'm returning it today.

Ouch, that sucks D: I used mine for about 3 months before switching and had no such problems.

Sorry for my english.. I have the some problem. After two years that i used the system... volume control broke.. I turn right and left the volume control but speakers don't switch on. It is possible to repaire?! Thanks
@truhunk13 жыл бұрын
I just bought these last week. Agree that the control should be a plug in, or just have the controls on the sub. They should include one longer speaker wire for the left or right speaker. There should be a treble/tone control as I find the main speakers to be a bit too high and a bit harsh. Great for voice audio, games and jazz music, but not great for rock music. I tried to adjust treble in my computer settings, but it seems you can no longer set treble, only ballance and bass.

Not sure how heavy the control knob is, but did you happen to try double sided tape and mounting it underneath your desk? Might somewhat solve your problem.

Hey boss can you please do this test :set the volume at 75 percent and go with the ear close to the speakers.Do you hear a humming noise in them ? Test them without a song playing.
@Ernescme8 жыл бұрын
So the "problem" is that your table is not meant to have any device on it? Where do you run your monitor power and signal cables? Also usually there is a special hole in computer tables to feed trough the cabling.
@EposVox8 жыл бұрын
The *only* problem is that the control puck does not have a detachable cable from the subwoofer. Every other speaker system I've seen or used - including a very similar set from Creative that I just reviewed this week - has a detachable cable for this very reason. Unless you have a completely open desk environment, the puck is impossible to run anywhere. It does not fit through cable management holes, and you can't just leave it hanging off the front of the desk

if you use the AUX lead instead of the rca connectors it should disconnect the built in speakers on the tv.. most 3.5 jacks have switching sockets in them..
@EposVox7 жыл бұрын
Yes but that can cause other ground loop issues, requires balancing both TV volume control and speaker volume, and requires physically plugging and unplugging to use/not use the speakers.

I have not personally experienced any static noise and i keep mine at max volume and just adjust from the computer. When I use my phone I sometimes have to wiggle the wire to get that feedback to go away. Have you tried different audio cables?

Adam, you should audition a pair of JBL L7s if you can find a pair or someone who has them. IMHO they top most audiophile speakers that range in cost of $2.5k and up. With a good audio source, they will not distort any at full volume bi-amping each speaker, but that will definitely make your ears bleed with the top end so sharp and clear it will cut you in half as the bottom end pounds your chest to a pulp and the mids are exceptional. They sound great and are clear and clean at all levels. I have them in a custom 12.1 system that creates a holographic 3D sound that puts Dolby to shame. It's fun watching people react when they first hear it because with music they feel the musicians moving around them and with movies - action flicks in particular, they dodge, duck, and move around. LOL Peace!
@Randommmmm2046 жыл бұрын
If you want a good 2.1 system, buy the z2300. It's 10 times better than this and you can find them for like $100.

I feel your pain, totally understand bcuz I know what the idea of "a perfect setup" is, but I'd disagree with your title review for this unappealing feature. I believe it's nothing some creativity and a hole saw or jigsaw couldn't discretely solve..lol. Now, not having a treble control knob and Bluetooth option is unacceptable! I hope Logitech gets creative.
