The problem is not windows, is NVDIAI, for critical systems where audio is that critical, just use MAD video or intel ARC. All issues with DPC latency are generated by NVIDIA.

for me, the fullscreen projector is not smooth at all. the cloning method is completely smooth on the stream pc, but causes extreme tearing. does anyone have a solution how i can make the fullscreen projector smooth?

The old winamp had plugins like this inside that player. No need to go and buy extra stuff. It was all free.

Last time I tried to use HDR - the video recorded was awful and washed out when I tried to edit it and get it onto KZbin. Is there a better way to play in HDR? Second question, what about playing in 1 resolution but recording in another? Using Shadowplay for the most part.

As someone that uses an RX 6800, with an RX 550 as a dedicated encoder/decoder, I want one of these so bad. Then again it might be better to wait for an rx 7400 or whatever they call the new ssf cards. Basically right now I'm forced to downscale 4k to 1440 then encode it to h264 balanced 20 CQP. Looks pretty good tbh but it could be better if I had the 7900xt with its dedicated av1 encoder. It's just far to stuttery trying to use my 6800 for gaming and encoding simultaneously.

Love this. I've been using my own rebuilt iPod video 5th gen for 5 years now. Having control over my music library is liberating in a way I hadn't known since having my original mp3 player.

Just bought this on a sale, I think that people lile me is definitely part of the audience. I want to record for videos, not necessarily stream, and mostly for console gaming. I will probably render videos in 1080p 25 anyway, so probably won't need that advanced features even if I get that it's good to have. (Though I will mostly do PS4 and switch gaming anyway, so yeah)

Here is a tip for anybody else who ran into the same issue as I did. Apparently, if you want to rip a flac audio file, you would want to unclick the "add ID3 tags" selection under the compression options; external compression table. All of the other settings should be okay for this.

This whole movement of modding iPods actually gave me the idea to buy a Sony digital walkman, and I'm so glad I went that route, but all of the same things about having a separate device just for music still apply. It's great! Btw, there are other services you can buy digital albums from (Qobuz, etc.). It doesn't have to be Apple Music, which is pretty frustrating to use in every way beyond just streaming.
