A brilliant record of the event, thanks Liam and Phil. I particularly enjoyed the double-headed departure sequences and those TPO demos are always spectacular, all the more for being expertly filmed. Kind regards, Bob.

A wonderful production of this popular event Liam...The GCR always put on an unique show.

This might seem a strange thing to say but the B1 sounded different in that video - more high-pitched and muffled than usual. It sounded more like a Manor. By the way, at 15:15, absolutely spot-on.

Really great watch - thank you :) When did we last see freight trains similar to these on the mainline (even diesel hauled). Would it have been the late 1970's / early 80's?

Colours on the trees look lovely. Doesn't the B1 looks great. On an appropriate line as well of course. Other highlights: the Hall/9f doubleheader and the two Class 2s.

On Sunday when the B1 did the TPO the only annoying thing was the steam roller in the car park backing up. I was filming it near the crossing gate.
@7822welshsteam6 жыл бұрын
Not nearly as annoying as that eye-sore in the car park ruining the ambience. I'm referring to the EMU.

Do they run the mail there for real

Fantastic video! Is that a class 319 i spot in the sidings at quorn? What that doing there?
@Pesmog6 жыл бұрын
Presumably being tested at GCR after modifications by Brush? Quite a few are having diesel engines added so they can work Bi-mode elsewhere in the UK. No doubt someone will confirm if my guess is correct
@MiRailOfficial6 жыл бұрын
Ah i see, did a bit of research and they're there for testing as the Class 769

12:40 Did they throw the mail at speed?! :O
@AndreiTupolev6 жыл бұрын
Yes, there's a net beside the track to catch it
@aumenarys6 жыл бұрын
@@AndreiTupolev did they use to do that with all the mail? Things could break, no?

I guess that's a WW1 tank replica from Bovington on the flat car.

I thought that. I saw it at the Great Dorset Steam Fair last year.
