Great Day in COZUMEL with ParoDeeJay (Carnival Mardi Gras Cruise)

It is our first port day on our Carnival Mardi Gras cruise and we are in beautiful Cozumel! And we have some friends with us... Dee and Jay from ParoDeeJay. What are our plans? Well, after we take a thousand pictures in port, we jump in a taxi and head to Occidental Cozumel Allegro. This is an All-Inclusive resort where you can fly over and spend time, but we are here on a day pass.
It is a beautiful resort and we are having perfect, but very hot, weather! Blue sky with fluffy white clouds... perfect! The water looks very inviting but beware of the rocks! You really need water shoes here and, of course, ours are on the ship! So after bobbing around for a while, we head to the pools. The resort serves lunch beachside and the food was pretty good... the shredded pork was really good! After lunch, we move to the adults-only pool and pretty much had it to ourselves for the rest of the day.
It was a great day with some great friends!

Looks like a fun time! We enjoyed Chankanaab there in Cozumel a lot but it's great to see other options! I saw Parodeejay's version of this day too and the short vs tall in the water cracked me up. I'm 4'11" so I feel the "short" pains!

Nice to see a Cozumel beach without seaweed. We've only gone to San Francisco beach and Nachi Cocom. Every time the water is just filled with nasty seaweed.

Cozumel is my least favorite port but if I ever go again, I will go to this resort. It looks incredible. I had 2 laugh out loud moments on this video. 1. Jason singing those lyrics in the pool 2. Jason who could not put down the peanuts while trying to comment on them

Actually we give it to Mr. Sancho’s. We feel that the pools are better because they have a swim up bar at Mr, Sancho’s and Occidental does not, not to mention the beaches and table setup on the beaches is MUCHO better at Mr. Sancho’s. .

First time I have ever seen ParaDeeJay and when I went to their video that they made on the Mardi gras they anounced that Dee has covid. Hopefully she has an easy time of it as she has had her shots. Also hopefully you guys did not catch it from her.
