Old disabled house bound dusty rusty rockhound here: Those are beautiful jaspers. That one slab of " supernatural jasper " that you were touching reminds me of scenes from "Nightmare Before Christmas ". Check it out and see if you see the ghosts and the cyclops jack-o-lantern. Hey guys nice stuff 👍👍!! So this is funny I already seen this about 11 minutes after it came out but was too busy to leave a comment. Here it is Saturday in the morning May 14 at 1:19 AM!!! So you know I had to come back and leave a little something something 😉! My wife and I just went to our local rock and mineral show in Cheyenne Wyoming two weekends ago and it was nothing like what you had there!! Loved all the beautiful stuff you showed! I like the fact that you enjoy looking at the rough part of the rocks also!! It’s kind of like looking under the hood 😉!! Get it get it? Under the HOOD!! Then you really see what’s inside! You’ve got me jonesing for a Thunder Egg 🥚!!! I won a silent auction and got a nice little triplet and one standalone Thunderegg for $4.00!! Now I need a saw to see what’s under the…….hood 🤩!!! Did I go a little overboard???🤣 See ya tonight for another edition of “ Saturday Night Special”!!! KEEP ‘EM COMING!!! Thanks so much!!☺️ 🪨 ❤️🤠

What was your show like out there? How was it different?
@curtd71172 жыл бұрын
@@CurrentlyRockhounding Well for one it was a lot smaller, but remember in Wyoming our statistics can be so skewed because of the per capita and low population. It seamed to be more geared towards the retail side of stuff and the local rock club didn’t have any nice display cases like you showed there. Don’t get me wrong, it was nice and they had a geologist on site so I got some help identifying or reaffirming what types of rock I have. Also today my wife and I are visiting relatives in Arvada Colorado and we went to a local rock shop which was…..0MG awesome! I am going to join the local rock club in Cheyenne because this is my retirement hobby! I got hooked on rocks when I was a freshman in high school. I may never get to all the wonderful places Wyoming has to offer but I’m going to give it my best shot!!

Hi Jared, that rock show was pretty awesome. I’m like you I pretty tight with my wallet when it comes to buying rocks, though at some of those prices I would have bought a little bit myself.
