@manufacturinintellect Amazing direct-to-DVD program. But you know I think there are some other directors that should have been included in Life Behind The Camera. So here is my list of them: 1 Woody Allen 2 Francis Ford Coppala 3 Joe Dante 4 Milos Formen 5 Jim Henson (1939-1990) 6 Norman Jewlson 7 Peter Jackson 8 Stanley Kubrick (1928-1999) 9 John Landis 10 George Miller 11John McTiernan 12 Frank Oz 13 Alan Parker 14 Brian De Palma 15 Ivan Rightman 16 Barbara Streisand 17 Joel Schumacher What do you think it would be like if they were included? Please reply back.

One gets an immense sense of melancholy when one considers how many of these artists are now gone. One hopes they enjoyed the time they had, and commends them for their contributions to so many lives.

9:41 The sand castle quote by Robert Altman is magnificent. What a beautiful way to put the essence of filmmaking into words

Hey I’m on the verge of pursuing filmmaking - I loved this video . Digging the whole blade runner sound design (Sylenth?) and the colors on this are just sublime. We’re all overthinking this gear game .

I think this could be the best filmmaking documentary ever. Just look at all the great names that are featured here while they were still alive.

Man, listening to George Lucas talk about his films is so sad. You can tell all the hate he got from the prequels really hurt him.

Thankfully we're at a point five years after your comment where people are starting to see how great of a filmmaker he really is. We still have a ways to go but hopefully it continues to get better as he's truly one of the all-time greats and deserves to be seen as such. I've been working on and off on a documentary about him. Hopefully it can help further and show he's more than just the man that created Star Wars as his imprint can't be understated. Both film and television. Plus beyond them.

I want to be a film producer. I'm a woman and it's not a lot of female filmmakers but I wish us both the best. Oh and Spike Lee inspired me to become a film producer, he's like a second dad to me.
