I like the looks of the reel seat. I need something a little thick for my paws, I have a 13 fishing rod that makes my palm cramp from the thin exposed black through seat design. If you wouldn't have landed that catfish we could have made that a story of legendary status and reminisced for years...

Entertaining video, the Trout Magnet truly catches everything. Where I live nobody knows about how incredibly effective it is for trout. They think it is a panfish lure, which it does very well for.

Target! I dont TARGET bass intentionally, but i will ALWAYS prefer bass over Catfish. Two feet of line is slimed every time, and roughed up too. I caught 9 catifsh that day, although most of them were 8 inch dinks..

good catch. This is a handle from daiwa Theory 2500, which is a little longer and helps with the resistance

I agree with u on any other reel but this thing. The 2020 Luvias has too much resistance. I cant fish like that. It is worse than Legalis

@@ifishcatfish you have to fish it much than it will be netter. But the best reel is the new Luvias Airity 2000S-P I love it. But the Same Thing you have to roll it much. Than it will spin like a Presso Ltd but have a better drag.

I have hundreds of fish with this reel. Probably 150 bluegill on this trip alone. At least 500 fish last year. When will it improve?

I am currently fishing for put and take trout in salt less lakes from the bank. No one but me has so far used trout magnet in Denmark since it is not availble here. It is more light than anything I have fished with so far so my gear is currently to heavy for it to be uptimal. I find fishing with a bombarda rig boring since since the trout are in average 1 kg. Could this rod be my answer for this type of fishing and what reel do you recommend pairing up with it? Any tips ty fish trout magnet from the bank?

that rod would be amazing for that. Any 1000 size reel from Daiwa or Shimano that weighs 180 grams or less. The new Daiwa Caldia 2021 in 1000 size fits the bill and is sold in Europe.

Thx! I can’t wait to get this rod. Any thoughts about the 6’4 vs 6’2 length? I am thing the long one is better since it gives more rod to fight and the lures rating is the same

from the bank, yeah. From a boat, i like shorter better, and it is easier to maneuver . Not a big difference in this case
