Has to be my favourite walk and favourite route too and I still have your 3 peaks on my watching, way behind due to looking after a 4 year old grandson. Never seen Sour Milk Gill looking so fast flowing and some brilliant views back down to the farm. Yep, I did the same, walked thought the valley and then went back on myself to base brown summit, must better than tiring to find that sketchy path up when you get from Sour Milk Gill. Brilliant views from Green Bale and quite a scramble up to Great Gable, especially when you are just about hitting 70 but worth it for the best views in the lakes (imo) from Grate Gable. Great walk, really enjoyed it, cheers Alan

Hi Alan, thank you for watching seeing your busy with the grandson and you must have lots of other peoples videos to watch, anyways Steve from Tramp in the hills also said must be one of the best walks in the whole country, much safer going up base brown up the grassy path and coming back on yourself, your right the views are incredible towards buttermere valley and wastwater without mentioning Scafell pike and everything else, is a steep tough path from windy gap up to Great Gable not sure i will be able to get up there when iam nearly 70 so fair play. must admit i watched your video of this walk before we travelled to the lakes just for reference, thanks for your comments mate cheers nigel

Hi Marti, we had best part of 2 days rain before the walk so sour milk gill was at its most powerful, the views from great gable are some of the best in the lake district and just 80 metres short of Englands highest mountain, superb day for me and thank you for coming along cheers nigel

A fabulous time out Nige. Views were great but I loved seeing Sprinkling Tarn and then you walking beside it. That Cart bridge was far out too. I enjoyed that bro. All the best as always. Mark

Thanks Mark, great you came along for the premiere, the Tarns and waterfalls are just as impressive as the summits, the history of the packhorse bridge makes you think way back to who crossed it before me mindblowing, was a memorable day, thanks again for watching and enjoy your week mate cheers nigel

Thanks mate just watched your wild swim lovely afternoon for it, in todays modern world its hard to slow up and take things in, our walks take us away from modern life and let our imagination take over great hobby to be in, with the countryside and wildlife just love to immerse myself in it, peace mate
