River Dee mate! 4-5 hour paddle from just East of Banchory at Crathes to Aberdeen. Changing scenery, nice class 1/2 whitewater at regular intervals, deep clear salmon pools, beautiful scenery and great wiildlife. Can't guarantee un-changing weather but a great little run.

Great video and kudos for the honest assessment of loch Ness 😂 be careful surrounding the fire with rocks at 2:19 If they are taken from somewhere wet and are heated they can explode!

I did Inverness to Fort William in a powered boat and it still seemed a long trek. Regular bursts of horizontal rain didnt improve the scenery. I dont think big lakes are much fun in a kayak.
