A bit more complicated than using downloader, but it works, a great alternative for the need

That’s right it’s always good to have a backup plan incase downloader goes down, also there are a few apps that I still use the older versions as I like them better than newer versions, I keep the installation files on my phone and just install them from my phone directly when needed.

I use a similar app called Easy Fire Tools . I use it to transfer from my Fire tablet to other devices such as 4k firestick or Tivo 4k stream or ONN 4k box . You must be on the same network . Thanks , good luck and Smooth Streaming .

this is great if downloader ever goes down, which it did a few weeks ago. And it’s also a good idea to have a backup plan, just in case Amazon ever decide to remove downloaded from the App Store. Also, most people nowadays have much more memory on their phones than on the fire stick.

mate most phones have 256gb (and external storage) and you can simply delete the apk once you have transferred it to the firestick

Downloader is great, but there has been a few times it’s been removed from the App Store, admittedly it’s been restored within a day or two but if it does go for any reason this is a fallback, also I have half a dozen apps that I leave on my phone which has plenty of memory compared to the firesticks and I can just install the apps directly from the phone without needing to try and find the downloader codes or websites I downloaded them from, in this case much quicker than downloader.

That’s if downloader is working and the downloader codes are working. I have a few apps stores on my phone which I install on Friends sticks regular, this is so much easier than having to install downloader and remember the code and of course hope the code still works or the apk hasn’t been removed from the internet. I have been caught out so many times with an app download being removed then spent ages trying to find it again.

@@joek1978atyahooEarlier this month and last month downloader had an outage with their codes system, both times it was only down for a few hours but the last time it went down I was trying to setup some apps on friends stick, I couldn't do it there and then so had to go back the following day when downloader was back up and running. Also I think it's sensible to have an alternative incase Amazon block downloaded in the future.

This is a good alternative incase Downloader ever gets removed from the App Store, it’s always good to have an alternative way to get apps sideloaded. Send files to TV and Easy Fire Tools are other great alternatives. If this doesn’t install on your phone or tablet.
