A tip for folks going for gold roses! You do not need to water your black roses every day with the gold can! Each rose must be watered individually (not in a clump of multiple) but it sets a flag on the flower that it can produce a gold. Any time it produces a flower, it has a 50% chance to be gold. You then need to water that flower again with the gold can to reapply the Gold Flag. But until it produces a gold it will always have the flag and be capable of creating one. Don't waste your golden watering can uses doing it every day!

Deep sea diving is a major source of my island income, when I dive I have a minimum of 20 slots free in my pocket, once those 20 slots are filled then i can trade up and dump the critters that sell for 1000 bells or less, looking for fast shadows,those are the big money makers.

Absolutely right @artisturn. I feel silly not to have included this in the video as some of the creatures DO give you a good return AND you don't break anything (nets or rods). Only thing you don't get I guess is selling them to a CJ or Flick equivalent

What I like to do is pluck as many flowers on my island as possible (I'd say like a solid ⅕ of my island is flowers and I have the max amount of space in my pockets) and then sell them all, and after I get the rest and sell them. Or I get all my produce on my island (trees included) and sell it, I have 2 whole portions of my island used for produce. It always gets me a whole bag of bells.

I haven't played since August of 2020 aside from a couple times to show my friends my Island but I want to go back and finish it the exterior is done but for me the interiors are probably more important, on my Zelda themed Island I was making Dungeons so I need to fully upgrade and decorate the interiors but even with just under a million saved on my main profile it didn't get me very far I had done I think 3 upgrades to one house and decorated the 3 rooms but I wss already running low. I also never got the Blue Roses to grow and that was the last flower I needed and was waiting on so I want that too. Anyway sorry for the long comment I'll be trying some of the tips like that Bell ordnance thingy.

I have a tomato farm i have 255 tom plants and each grow 3 tomatos if watered daily im getting about 250k every 2 days and i have 20 or so apple trees wich is about 40k every 3 or 4 days

I might not really consider myself rich in this game currently but I paid off quite a lot for constructions and upgrades by just selling the unwanted fish while I was hunting for that one particular rare fish that I was still missing from my museum collection. I was hunting for that fish for THREE BLOODY YEARS! If that fish wasn't just available for a certain time of the day and certain months I probably could have built and upgraded everything and would still be a billionaire. Maybe my next money making strategy could be to try and see that fish a second time. Something that rare HAS to be displayed somewhere else, not just the museum. On to the next three years of fishing. Lol

@@AlexiGiovani It was the stringfish. So only available for a few months during winter and I could only fish in the evenings, maybe at best until midnight. Wasn't going to pull an alnighter for that stupid fish. XD One winter I was even so lucky that I happened to find that island that mostly spawned big and rare fish - and not even THERE I was able to find that particular fish. That was the time when I started to think that maybe my game was glitched or faulty and didn't even have that fish in it... And then in the third winter, during the last week that the stringfish could still spawn, I FINALLY found one. On my own island.

I make money by picking fruit, sticks, weeds, flowers, anything i can pick up, then I go and sell it. Its a good way of making bells. I also go to nmt islands, and do this. As well as fill up my inventory with sea creatures, like, emptying my pockets and then go diving. Edit: I also sell fossils.

Alexi I love the video but why isn't anyone talking about how you can max your bells out to 99,000 and plant that as your money tree? I've been doing this for a couple weeks and it works well to stack wealth fast.

I mentioned it in the video but specified dropping 10K. The reason is anything in excess of 10K only gives you 30% chance for the original amount to be 3x. So if you drop 99K bells, 30% you’ll get 3x99K. The other 70% you’ll get 10k x3 (meaning you lose 69K) . I will have to double check the percentages but it’s been tested and found that 10K gives you guaranteed 3x profit.

Statistically you lose money over time doing this from the law of averages. It makes a nice trophy tree though.
