For the really fast sea creatures,the best way to catch them is to corner them at the edge of the net. Unlike New Leaf,they can't swim under the net here.

From what I’ve found, if you stop tapping a the fast creatures will move much slower, and all you have to do is slowly swim until youre above them/a little in front of them, then go underwater and catch them! (You can tap a once ur under)

I play almost daily, with rarely ever timetravelling, and easily gain 1-2 million bells every month without grinding, just regular gameplay. My technique: - Fossils of the week, assess them all at once and sell them afterwards, easily about 70k-100k - Orchard, 5 trees for every type of fruit, about 30k each round - Produce, about 40 spots, about 40k if watered enough (about 15k if not at all) - Only selling fish/insects to CJ/Flick, 50-200k each, depending on your activity, the date they were there last and on the rarity of the animals (pro-tip: get all of the five wasps every day, they are worth about 4k for Flick, so more than 100k for each visit alone!) - Sea creatures, one full pocket once in a while, 20-50k - a money tree a day, always a 20k profit - money rocks, about 15k a day

When I use money tree, I don't use the 1k bells you get, I plant the 10k bells in the hole and therefore get a profit of 30k bells

@Poetic_Raven no, that would be a profit of 20k bells, and I am also planting 10k. If you plant the 1k, you have a profit of 3k since the game gifts you 1k, and the money tree gives you 3k. That would be 1k (money spot) - 1k (planted) + 3k (money tree) = 3k. If you plant 10k, you use your own money and get 30k back. That means -10k (planted) + 30k (money tree) = 20k (profit). Technically 21k, since you keep the 1k the game gifts you with the money spot. But definitely not 30k.

​@whatsyourname9581 If you actually attempt to get the 10k back before the bell tree grows (which is pretty easy if you have non-native fruits/vegetables, since I get 100k per mass fruit/vegtable selling) you would get a profit of 30k. But I get it, some people don't try to do stuff other than the easy way.

Thank You for mentioning my tip, the Blue Rose trick is the fastest trick I have, I also have a huge produces/vegetables area so that can be a good bell making by crafting the Veggie Basket (3150 bells each, requiring 1 of each vegetables), also having alot of non-native fuit trees help too. :-)

I always stand directly in front of the tree facing it. When the wasps come out, you're automatically turned in their direction then spam my net. It's the only way I can catch one.

You can earn half again as much by saving insects for when Flick visits. The same for fish from C. J. Also, the green fruit beetles aren't worth much.

Another way to earn a lot of bells is collect exotic fruit . So basically you have an island native fruit, so if you collect other fruits that are not local, they will sell for more (ps coconuts don’t really work)

Thank you for these awesome methods! I'd have to say my favorite method is the sea creature method. I'm horrible at breeding flowers, even tho the blue rose method does sound intriguing. I just have a ton of flowers on my island right now. They honestly DO grow like wildfire. Sometimes it gets too overgrown that it's way too hard to handle. At this very moment I'm putting clear coating all over my island from top to bottom so the weeds and flowers don't spread. I have 90% of it done, I just have to fix the spots I missed. That beetle method sounds interesting as well. I'll have to check that out. Love that they added a Poki to Bell converter. It's about time! I'll have to check that out as well. Thanks again!

Using the sea creature method, I gained 34,500 bells exactly, by fill my whole inventory with sea creatures (I also got a pearl from the otter)

Craft the pile of cash with bell bottom odriance and sell it on the day that it's your hot item craft it over and over again makeing bells you can also turn your clock back every 12 hours so it stays the same day rinse and repeat.

None. Donation box method is best method.

To those that don't know. If you get the donation box DIY it will appear in the hot items tab at the nooks cranny Fill the donation box with bells (99k max) sell it and each full box will give just shy of 200 000 bells. And you can sell as many as you want. I usually skip till I find a day it's a hot item then fill multiple boxes and sell them all at once for a hearty gain. Takes a small bit of grinding to fill a box (about 10 minutes but it's better than trying to get bugs.
