Great trip and video. Hope you like the section of the US. that you have seen and glad you will return to the journey, A break from the heat we have had this summer was probably most enjoyable.

Really enjoyed this video and the music just adds to it ! On the Nebo app it looked like there were regularly 30 + Loopers here during Sept., I can see why🙂

Glad you enjoyed it Michael! I use music to help convey the feeling of being on the water. GTB had dozens of loopers coming and going for quite some time! Great spot for sure! Thanks for watching😎

Great video's of your journey. I hope you had a wonderful time in Kentucky, my home state. Land between the lakes is an amazing place. All of the conservation efforts in Kentucky are paid for with hunting and fishing license's, they go no other state funding. Not into hunting or fishing, look into Kentucky Wild program. Its an annual membership that helps support conservation efforts in Kentucky. I have 11 more year to graduate my son and start my own loot. Until them I will continue to enjoy others who take the time and effort to document theirs.

Hello 330T, we had a great time in Kentucky! Land between the lakes is beautiful, we visited the Elk & Bison Sanctuary. Every looper has their own unique experience and yours will be fantastic too! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment!😎

I one of your replies, you asked if I was planning on doing the loop. I've known about it for maybe 30 years and have wanted to do it. Wife and I are both 61, so getting into the prime time to do it. However, my parents are mid and late 80's and wife's mom is 97. I'm about 40% care for mine and she's about 95% care for her mom. Don't want anything to happen to any of them, but I think our window may close. Downer, but hopefully not. So I get to dream about it from people like you, that take their precious time to document and post right now. I've heard it's up to 10 hours just to edit a video or more.

It’s tough being a caregiver and taking time for yourself, especially a big adventure such as the loop. I feel for you and hope you can make it happen. You’re right about video editing… I would say more like 20+ hours per episode, especially with voiceovers and music.

Thanks Roger! Even though we are on this amazing Great Loop adventure, it is good to take a break and reset. Afterwards, it felt really good getting back to the boat!😎

And it seems more people are starting to do videos. Not all are good, and I said earlier, some stop after a few videos for whatever reason. I've watched SchoandJo, WhatYatchToDo and onFIREfamily and now you. Watched all of the Boomershine pre-loop videos because they are such a dynamic couple and am waiting for them to post then actual loop videos, which they say they are going to do. If you know of others, I'd be interested.

Videos come in many different styles! The ones you listed are the ones I’m familiar with and we met them on our loop (except Rev & Sam but we did pass them on the Rideau Canal and chatted on VHF). There are likely some newer ones from the current looper year but I can’t recommend any in particular as they are still quite new. I’m sure you can simply search “Great Loop” and find them. Thanks for watching our journey!
