Right?! I have heard another KZbinr mention repeatedly that she's replacing all of her Z Palettes because if she shows one in her videos it's essentially advertising for them. And she doesn't want to show products from brands that her viewers might have a bad customer service experience with. I understand what she's saying. But I think it's wasteful to just throw them away. I suggested she cover up the Z Palette logo like Tina did. I don't think that her approach would bother me so much if she didn't use and recommend several other problematic brands on her channel. But to each her own. It's her money and she can replace them if she wants to, even if it seems wasteful to us. :)

I feel the same about young wild and polished. Hi Tina! I watched this video looking for practical, inexpensive ways to store my single pans. At the end of the video, you mentioned that MAC's palette were only $8 for any size. I was floored by that! I bought 4 of the duo sided, then went on amazon and bought magnetic sheets that had an adhesive sticky side.... I got everything today and FILLED all of my new MAC palettes! Each magnetic sheet had enough material to line for 3 sides of the MAC palette. They were super easy to cut down. Even with the heavier mil, all of my pans fit nicely. In for $40 bucks and I am a happy girl. Thanks so much for mentioning all of the options. I was never gonna pay $27 bucks for a z palette! PS... with the magnetic sheets... those MAC palettes are super secured! Maybe another viewer would benefit from this tip. :)

But I watched it today to recap on the sizes and found out that not only did they change the packaging of the palettes they increased the price to 18-20-30 which is saddening but if its still good I might buy it. Thanks for another great video Tina!! Another vote for the MUFE palettes! Great price and those inserts are a lifesaver! I traveled with my XL palette and it was far from a smooth ride; my shadows arrived completely intact which I don't think would have happened without the inserts. Tarte was great for the mirror but I thought the packaging was a little bulky. Completely agree that I like my magnetic palettes to be esthetically pleasing. I find I gravitate towards these palettes more than some of my pre-made ones. Sidenote: Navy blue nail polish works just as well if anyone doesn't have black ;-)

I have a Metal Palette from SheaMoisture, called 'Create Your Palette' (9.99 at Target)..it is large (8"x6, no window") but it is a little thin and can get dented with a lot of handling - I keep mine in my Drawer so it stays pretty nice. I would purchase it again :D Also the MAC Palettes (I use them without the inserts) are also really nice but the magnetism in the palettes are geared for the MAC pan products and other pans may not stick but that is easily solved by purchasing some N50 Neodymium Magnets (cheap) from Ebay or wherever. Works really well for me :D I have also made a small Palette out of a Lozenge container...I just added a piece of Magnetic Sheeting (also bought on Ebay) to the bottom :D I would like a couple of those MUFE ones, 'tho =) Thank you so much for showing these alternatives, Tina! :D

The Z palette was originally created for professional makeup artists. And I can tell you that the majority of those Pro makeup artists will continue to use the Z palette as most of them say there is nothing quite like the Z palette they don't like how other ones function. I stopped doing makeup professionally before the Z palette came out so I don't have that feeling about them.

For the $$$ I don't think I should have to reinforce them with hot glue. I did have the ingot palette but I think I am going to return it as it is HEAVY when traveling. For the Mac palettes, you can get self adhesive magnetic sheets to attach to the bottom. That way you don't have to place individual magnets to each product. I still don't care for them, very much! Will have to try a MUFE palette.

Adept cosmetics is another alternative if you don't mind not having a transparent lid and their palette is the size of a pro size zpalette and it's double sided. The palette fits:122 (26mm pans)54 (37mm pans)18 (59mm pans)

I know the mixed feelings everyone seems to have with Morphe, but they do offer their empty pro palette and I think I paid around $15-17 and you can always plug in a code for 10% off. I've had no issues with mine and I've had them for quite a while as I bought them back when they first launched.

Olga Joanna I stocked up when I went to Poland last November. I got durations, gel liners, glitter like everything. The zołty to euro/dollar ratio made everything super cheap. Even at Sephora Poland. Prices have to be higher because of shipping and duties paid by inglot.

They gouge us EVEN MORE in Canada! And Inglot went to Canada first before they even went to the US! We have THE WORST price markup, WAY OVER the conversion rates between US & Canada! It's ridic!! One eyeshadow pan is US$7 and in Canada it's C$12!! That's THREE DOLLARS OVER the currency exchange!! What the FLIP!! Why is Inglot making us suckers, we don't even earn as much as US counterparts and I cost of living is way higher. So strange. BUT don't get me wrong I'm LOVING INGLOT!! They made me fall in love with their eyeshadows and who knows what's next! 🙄😂
