What's In My Magnetic Palettes? (hint - ITS ALOT!)

Hello beautyloving unicorns and welcome to this video where I show you EVERY magnetic palette I own and what's in them. I hope you brought a snack... ;)
And before you comment on me using Z Palettes, I am aware of the drama around them but this is my view on it: This drama happened during one day and it was almost 1 year ago. It was not a cute look and the owner was extremly rude. But she did go to apologize and since then nothing else has happened of this sorts or even close from the brand. I never totally cancel a brand over a one time thing and I rarely cancel someone forever. Calling someone poor is in bad taste, but it's not unforgiveable according to me. If you feel differently I respect that, just respect that Z Palette is not one of the brands I don't shop from. :)

i donn't like when people hoold grudges for years,yes she apologised and i also think that people need to move on. and i also love single shadows i barely have any eyeshadow palettes because i depot them all the time. it's more fun to rearange and make something personal to you+it's way easyer to travel with. i share so many views with you i feel like you or becoming one of the most loveble person on this platform for me

You have some beautiful palettes! Loved the coloured print on white and the tree print with gold. I still have and will buy z palettes. If we started cancelling brands for every piece of drama, there would be so little to choose from. People f up, the question is, is it a habitual problem or an isolated incident etc. I think its a personal choice to decide when your line has been crossed and we all need to respect each other's choices!

Ironically, I recently forgave Z Palette when I was looking for generic brand induction burners on Amazon, and I realized that Z Palette had *actually* provided something uniquely suited for depotting makeup pans, instead of merely private labeling some existing equipment. Also, their palette design is just the best. It's durable and sleek. She was smart to patent the major functional details of the design, even though they're so basic. The execution is just *right*. There, I said it. 😆😝

I didn’t even know there was drama until a few weeks ago, but only knew it was about the hot plate and not what had happened, so clearly the drama wasn’t even that big or intense to be long lasting. They are quality and well known magnetic palettes, and the clear fronts are unique.

Have started this week depotting into magnetic palettes my highliter/contouring/ blush palettes. I am declitering shades not suitable to me and I can tell you, it is such an eyeopening process. When you have 40- 50 $ palette and you are keeping only 1 shade and declitter the rest, you realy start to re- evaluate your purchases

If I won't be using even a couple of shadows, it's not worth it to me. So many indie brands have amazing singles, there's no point in getting palettes sometimes.

I've been purchasing custom empty magnetic palettes off of Etsy. They're great quality. There are vendors on Etsy who will customize your palette with your photo or design, just look on Etsy to see find them & make sure they do international shipping. You'll have to decide if the price is worth it :)

Single eyeshadows heaven! 😍 I took advantage of the Looxi Cyber Monday sale and placed a pretty big order. I just got them but did not try them yet. The singles from Nabla are also very nice, better than the ones in their curated eyeshadow palettes.

I also ordered several shadows from Looxi's sale and they are gorgeous! The metals are especially beautiful- but they did crease really bad on me. Using a tacky primer helped alot though. Did you get any of their highlighters? They are amazing! My favorite by far! Bombshell and Forbidden are incredible!

I quite like Coastal Scents hot pots, especially their shimmers. The mattes could be hit and miss for me. I got a bunch of them on sale at one point for 99cents a piece! Haven’t finished the video yet but Coloured Raine has a palette that holds 90+ regular sized shadows. It’s like $45 but saves you from buying a lot of empty palettes.

Thank you for sharing your collection! I recently decided that I am just going to be purchasing single shadows from now on. I can get exactly the colors I want and they tend to be way more unique and interesting than what you get in curated palettes. Plus, I'm hardcore cruelty-free and it works great because not only is it supporting artists but indie brands are absolutely killing the singles game (and by definition are almost always cruelty free / not selling in China / not owned by an umbrella company that does either.) I appreciate seeing that there's plenty of options out there!

Angelica, I just saw on trendmood that a limecrime Venus xl #2 palette is coming out and it looks like the Cover hints to greens and I think it will have a lime green, woo-hoo I think it is might be something you might like. And I am loving my Divenah matte shadows and I figured out the shimmers with glitter are not for me but the shimmers and mattes are for me :) thank you for introducing that brand to me.

You have a lovely collection. I dont buy a lot of single eye shadows because I'm actually poor. I like when I buy a palette and each eyeshadow cost less than a dollar or $2 tops. I cant imagine paying $6 plus per eyeshadow even though I would love to for some of those looxi ones. That being said I did try some coastal scents shadows a few years back thanks to your recommendation. I got them when coastal scents had a sale and they were 98 cents each. I like most of the ones I got especially cherry moss and Niagara.

I also love singles, depotting, zpalettes, arranging etc of eyeshadow and blushes and highlighters. It's one of my favorite things about makeup! I depotted my wet n wild square blushes and highlighters out of that cheap packaging but gorgeous imprints and they look so beautiful. No casualties out of 6!

Angelica, I know you aren't a fan of this makeup but from where I'm sitting... You are STUNNING!! The hair should be like an everyday look if possible?! The headband and waves are beautiful on you!! But literally on the 1st when I get paid like literally before bills or anything else I am buying a LOT from Sydney Grace and also gonna purchase the Autumn reign palette!🤗 Super excited! So if you buy the empty Z palettes from Sugarpill they will fit your lg. Shadows that makes it impossible to fit all the shadows you have properly! And i believe if you purchase 6 SP shadows the palette comes free with it! That video was actually so interesting, i saw some pretty curious pans. Good you mentioned Ali Express cause i need magnetic palettes to depot 2 Morphe palettes i got from a friend and the beautybay palettes are a bit too expensive for me. But the Ali Express ones are just affordable and pretty enough for my needs. I love your collection so much really. Do you sometimes get overwhelmed that maybe you are not using some products enough, or that maybe some shades repeat since you have so many palettes and single pans and maybe you don't need more repeats? Hey Angie, thanks for sharing your gorgeous collection! I have older leopard print mag. palettes from Tarte that (like your Morphe one) are an odd size/shape, where you get that empty band around the edges. However, if you stagger the rows, you can fit another whole row of shadows. I hope this helps...💋

Have you seen the Book of Shadows brand on Etsy? They’re under the name anothersoul. I love their palettes. Lately I have been trying to buy only handmade items in my makeup and that has carried over into buying their palettes as well. You might like them for smaller collections.

I expect you’re aware of the Coloured Raine 96 pan magnetic palette...I know you’re not a fan of big palettes, but it is an efficient storage method, especially because I know you often make smaller palettes out of your singles. That pink icing Davina set is what I thought the sweet nothings pallet from colour pop was... But now they have it on the Colourpop website the colours don't look that good. I bought the 24 eyeshadows BYOP Colourpop had on 50% sale, plus several super shock shadows since they had a BOGO sale on them. So that's it, together with the Juvia's Place pakettes I bought during 2018 I'm on a no-buy for eyeshadows during 2019 😂. I'm so excited to try this brand. And on Kicks current sale they have these tiny 4 pan & 9 pan empty Nyx palettes so I only bought that to make quads & small palette combos w the few single shadows I have. Thinking about depotting H&M singles if that's even possible

You mentioned that some eyeshadows are old and you have to throw them away. How old are they? I don’t use my shadows as regularly as you. Some of the eyeshadows have 12months written on the palette. Realistically, how long should I take before throwing them away?

Spectroscopy powder products last longer . Single shadows as long as three years . Palettes like ABH recently introduced skin care ingredients which give them the 12 month . I suggest putting them out and spritz with alcohol. Kills bacteria 🦠 if your shadows still preform and don’t smell funny they can last much longer than the date listed on the bottom

Right now Tarte has empty palettes for $12 on sale. I got the cheetah/leopard print one its a nice size. Its my 1st one I have ever purchased and I have to say it pretty decent quality. I dont know how much it holds. I don't have any singles to put in it. And it has a mirror thats one thing you can count on from Tarte there mirrors are great!

Merry Xmas Angelica. Be bold and be YOU!! There is nothing in owning eyeshadows. It's very important to enrich your passions. In my opinion you can never have enough eyeshadows or any powder product. So breeze through the next year with a flair for more colour and zest for living large.

I love singles and it's so interesting to see your collection! Do you know any good true white metallics or intense shimmers? I got MUG Ice Queen, but that's unfortunately a very sheer satin. I have a minimalistic collection of maybe 75 eyeshadows (including loose pigments), I think have a little bit more than 50 pressed singles. I store all of them in a big DIY double-sided magnetic palette. I also own two empty Neve Cosmetics palettes and two empty Nabla Palettes, that I usually only use for travel.

girllll that eye look is actually so beautiful and i am doing that on my eyes today. but. with better eyeshadows hopefully. it’s only when you close your eyes you can see how patchy and skippy ( is that a word lol) the eyeshadows are lol but the colors and shape omg is dead

I HATE when companies don’t use standard pan size! I made my first nabla order this year and I’m so pleased with the quality but I wasn’t expecting them to be bigger than standard. I get that it’s nice to give more product, but I like to mix all my shadows from different brands into colour stories and I can’t/won’t do it with different pan sizes, it’s messy and wastes space. I’m way too angry about this lol
