Great Morning of Fishing in 8-2 Fish EVERYWHERE

I got out for another pre-work session this morning. I couldn't believe how many fish were on the surface. At first light, it was almost like a boiling pot of water.
Got into a decent Coho within 3 minutes of wetting my gear. Freaking sweet! Then proceeded to land and release another smaller Coho. Finally, I got into a good-sized Pink to round out my limit for the morning. All in it was about an hour of actual fishing.
Loving this area 8-2 opening!

I keep mine in a soft cooler filled with ice on the bow of my kayak. Great video!

Just leave it in the net to bleed. Only takes 1-2 minutes.

360's and Brad's cutplugs have invaded the Sound! Been meaning to try out the Columbia River gear in the sound but just can't do it yet. Been wanting to see what a 360 and a spinner, Stupidbait or thinspin will do. Obviously it works...but just curious to see what shakers or other fish bit the stuff.

Boaters there typically set trolling speed at around 3 MPH for coho. I guess your kayak trolling speed was much lower, but you still got coho bites. What's your kayak trolling speed? [
