if you are thinking of dashmounting like mine, make sure the hood is not seen in the display. it seems to work better with no or little hood in sight.

do the dashmount later , its in my dashmount playlist the how to's . I recommend to do the official mount first see if you dont mind view blockage. you need to get acquianted with stock OP first and foremost.

Hey there, thanks for your video! I recently bought a comma 3X for my 2019 civic (I believe it's using bosch radar for acc, same with your accord). I have a question, if I use a fork such as sunnypilot, does it use the stock acc system for Longitudinal Control, or it will use the vision data from the camera? The stock acc system IMO does not perform really well with traffic (brake/accelerate too aggressive, hit the brake instead of letting go of the throttle), so it would be great if sunnypilot can help improve that. Thanks!

you need to enable experimental mode to enable e2e long which uses the camera. imo bosch acc is still the best. on stop and go traffic using stock acc it really depends on the lead car you are following. it the lead car brakes hard you brake hard , so i just play with the gas and have a big gap upfront.

@@entourage26 I had a difficult time trying to remove the camera cover by the mirror. Eventually got it open. So how did you determine exactly where to place the mount. Did you measure? How did you make sure it was horizontal?

Nice! you have to enable EXPERIMENTAL mode to do that, which uses the C3X camera not the radar. its not ready for primetime. I advice you to join the community at discord.comma.ai

this will not make your car self driving, full attention is a must. Handsfree in the video is just for drama, I usually drive with my hands (at least my left hand) on the steering wheel.
