Earlier this year I drove a manual Plus Four from the Morgan factory in Malvern, UK down to Wales along some of the most amazing countryside roads. It was an amazing experience and even in its home country, the car still turned heads. It had the white exterior with red wine interior. Naturally I drove it while wearing a 3-piece suit (sans jacket) along with driving gloves. 🧐 The car is simply gorgeous and still quick considering it weighs just under 2,300 lbs.

I am excited beyond belief. These cars are awesome cool! Nothing like them on the planet today. I had repaired and driven Morgan's way back in the 1970's when I worked in a Connecticut auto repair shop.

Specs for those wondering (6 speed manual model): Engine: BMW 2.0-litre TwinPower Turbo, inline four-cylinder 255 bhp (259 ps) 0-62 mph in 5.2 sec (0-100 kph) 2,293 Ibs (1,040 kg) 39 mpg (7.3 l/100 km) 149 mph (240 kph) The automatic will be a few lbs lighter, go 4.8 seconds to 62, and will get 45 mpg.

When it comes to motorcycles, they still have brands like Royal Enfield and Triumph making old looking vintage motorcycles especially Royal Enfield which looks so and feels so similar to Old bikes. I think this is missing in Car manufacturers and I'm glad Morgan is doing just that. We need to bring back Old designs with new technology because these cars are just timeless.

Not a tesla fan, but they comply with litteraly all of the United States Saftety regulations lmao. This is a wood frame replica of a car that didn't have a seat belt. When I was 19 I got hit on an unprotected turn by an original Morgan and let's just say my 03 rav 4 made it crumple like a box of toothpicks 🤣 became good friends with the guy as he rebuilt it though!

A Factory Five "complete kit" MK4 costs 21K and you still need to source your own engine/transmission/rear end, wheels/tires, and paint. That's all before you put it together or pay someone to do it. So no, this Morgan is not basically a kit car.
