The paving looks great too and so very practical at the door entrance. Looks like a very comfortable Air BnB ... The dogs all settled in too😊 That is such good news about your Habitation licence!! Woohoo!! 🎉 That was such a long wait, but so thankful all came through successfully for you. Well done at keeping on trying and applying. Lisbon Xmas lights look so beautiful. Some expanding foam expands more than others. Maybe you have the one for windows and doors which doesn't expand as much. Perhaps fiber insulation would be a better choice? Your room looks so bright🥰

Formidable pour votre autorisation d'habitation !!! pour votre mur plafond , pour faire tenir la mousse mon mari me dit que vous devez remplir d'abord avec des carton , papier, enfin des truc, du bois afin que la mousse ai de quoi s'accrocher , car l'espace est trop grand pour y mettre que la mousse, c'est pour ça que cela ne tient pas !! bon courage pour la suite et joyeux noel a vous Christine!!

An amazing transformation again! The pavers look so good, I was going to ask about the water situation if the filters are working for you. The bathroom also? I have watched a few other peoples renovations in Portugal and the problems they have had with builders. Im sorry you have had to repair things they have done but it is coming together and looking so much better. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

If your windows are metal, you need a product called hammeright. Its a brilliant paint for any metal painting. I have seen other you tubers using it in portugal, so must be available there . Happy Christmas. 🎉

congrats on the habitation license! that's brilliant news! you could get a bit of that blue insulating board, cut it to size and stick it in that ceiling gap..and then use a bit of the spray foam then to fill in any small gaps..you'll have to work out a way to hide it all but I think maybe the gap is too big and gravity too strong, for spray alone.! Use low density open cell insulation spray foam (interior use). Keep nozzle in cavity till you see expanding foam coming out of cavity, repeat till you have filled the whole opening, use knife to trim dried foam flush with opening. Felix navidades. You could fill the outdoor brick joints with very wet fine sand and stiff brush. Y Nuevo año.

Re the louvre shutters seeing that you keep them shut for the moment can you not put some sort of temporary protective shield to prevent the wind coming in during the winter months?

Hi, In my opinion you need microventilation on the patio doors becouse mold will be apiring there. Additionally you need a vent through the wall that you can open for summer and close for winter.
