Day 15 is a big one... sand, sand and more sand. Absolutely spectacular and hard work. The Hay River track is well worth doing. The red sand, colourful flowers and isolation is amazing.
A few more audio crackles.... no, its not your speakers. I tried to cut most of it out, but a few bits left behind.

I can honestly say Nerb is an amazing rider. Riding a T7 in the soft sand fully loaded with water, fuel & camping gear it is quite a workout. All that while getting some dope drone footage 🔥💪

Really enjoyed coming along with you Nerb. Great fuel consumption, wouldn’t have got that on the 1190 LOL. I passed through the Madigan line 9 days behind you (trusty Jimney) and coincidentally travelled with Daryl and his boys. Must have done a few back to back. Will PM you 👌

Wow 🤩 great riding 👌🏻 I see everyone focusing on the Simpson crossing but Hay River looks epic. You make sand riding on a loaded T7 look easy 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 (Until the the little siesta x3🤣 however I’d be down every few hundred metres) Also that drone footage combined with the guitar track was incredible content man👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 absolutely jaw dropping stuff❤

Hay River track certainly isnt a road made by Len Beadell..........he was very well known to surveying and building straight sections on his projects in the outback. The Pilbara mountain range in WA is very rich in iron ore, if the winds blow in the right direction for long enough, weathered iron ore is going to make it across the desert.

@Nerb1

From memory he just cut it off and stretched it to reach the connector again. I was carrying spart fuel line, but I gave it to oli the day before when he lost his tank vent pipe. Haha, love your videos. A 500 adventure bike is a true jigsaw puzzle. You'll find the solution one day!

there's a track on the right hand side of that salt pan from poeppels corner to the qaa line that has lots of dips and jumps at the start then it goes out on the salt pan it's a fun track and saves you backtracking to the other side again.

One was the engine check light because of my switch to cut off the abs. If I restart the bike with the switch still in the cut position, it throws that code. The other one is just the abs light to say its not working.
