A good 10+ years ago, there was a game called "Snapshot Adventures - The Secret of Bird Island" and I really want to find a game like that again.

Oh yeah! That's a great example, though I mostly strayed away from it since the most of the photography in that game comes up with optional prompts that result in the same photo for every player. At least compared to these games, there's a lot less of that expressiveness that I was exploring with these examples.
