I'm on my 3rd one! Was lucky enough to fine a 60 size "Custom" finish one. Wow - it's a beauty. Before you say 3 - well I'm 72 years old. If you ever get the chance to own one - please take it. Yes Sir, it will tear up the skies and do anything you want and are capable of doing. I fell in love with the landings. That thick air foil will slow you down enough and make you look good. I lost 1 because I chose a bad day to fly. 90 degree crosswind and wind was steady at at least 15 knots and gusting to 25 but I wanted to fly. We were flying at a small airport back in those days - legal. Time to land and I had to crab walk 50 yards to a taxiway that allowed me to land into the wind. The plane flew well even in the cross wind - keep the power up. I made my downwind fine and then just lost my mind as I eased the power down to less that a quarter. The gust of wind hit me from behind so hard it blew my hat off. My Beautiful Army colored plane (My son was with 10th Mountain and somewhere in Iraq) turned into the wind and just seemed to hove like a gull for 2 seconds before stalling and hitting the runway! I cried and I knew what I had done. Live and learn. Pilot error - not the plane. My son is flying the "Custom" ARF Ultra Sport now.

Nice video. I'm currently flying it with an O.S 55 AX and the stock power box muffler with an APC 11 x 7 but, intend to put a jett tuned muffler that I have already ordered. Just to share notes, what prop size were you running on the 46?

1.poor built plane specially the retracts area, NO COVER meaning no protection for the balsa wood, it will get soaked with fuel 2. need to do modifications to the tail and make it stronger.
