Good video Chris, nice fish. If you bleed and ice down immediately those Leopard sharks are good eating. Shark meat varies in consistency species to species. I have had it in chowder and it holds up well in that recipe. It was a more meaty than flaky. I really enjoyed it that way. Can't beat a good hot chowder on a cold rainy winters day.

I was out on my kayak on 10/3 and i saw a halibut around 30" cruising a couple inches below the surface. it was messed up because i was on the water probably 5 hours at that point without a bite. Ended the day with a 25"er

If u gaff with the tip of the hook pointing down, you won’t pop em off

That's a different style gaff, hook is a different angle. That is probably preferred for these hali, the commercial guys use that style. Thanks for watching
