Thanks! Hoping to get a lot of riding in this season.

I'm in the capital region and just picked up an adv. Also have a dual sport but really don't ride it. Either way, do you know of any trails or BDR's that are in the adirondacks?

In January, 2023, I was in a crash and took a fall and got concussed, separated my shoulder, damaged my rotor cuff, sprained a knee, broke a finger on one hand, and severely sprained the wrist of the other hand. If wasn't until this fall, 2023, that I could even lift my arm over my head without having to use the other arm to get it there. 2023 was pretty much devoid of riding. I ride something much less dirt capable than you, a DL1000XAL8, and I feared that if I dropped it, I wouldn't be able to pick it back up. On flat paved ground I could do it, but I wasn't really sure what would happen on the more fun stuff. I got to ride a bit late fall, on pavement only, rode on VT-9 to VT-100, and then south to VT-112 to VT-2, across the French King Bridge. A Nice ride. I'm less than 200 miles east from you. Have to see how much strength I can get back over the winter.

Hey just curious. I’m new to ADV riding and would like to know how would I download maps
@wanderingturtleadventures86194 ай бұрын
@@gjonhajdari9939 the osmand app is great for exploring areas with no service. You can download a few states worth for free so you don’t get lost without cell service. I like the Gaia app best for uploading “tracks”. Do a search on the ADV rider forum for mapped dual sport rides people have put together, download the track, and share to Gaia. You can just try google searching dual sport adventure rides for the state you’re in and any bordering states. Should come up with some good stuff.
