If the locals are so friendly and welcoming to skateboarding everywhere, how come Copenhagen Open is in Athens this year? And was in Berlin a few years back? Was it not, by any chance, because the city had denied permission to host it that year because of the damage to people’s property? As for the city: been living here as a UK transplant for the past 10 years and yes, it’s honestly an amazing place to live. Be very aware that it is fantastically expensive and that most of your salary goes to the taxman, but great nonetheless.
