Raviente is the epitome of Monster Hunter Frontier to me as a western fan who never got to play it, insofar as it is a fight that sounds incredible when you read about it out of context on a wiki-- 'You have to siege this monster down over multiple hunts', 'the hunt takes place over mornings, days and nights in different parts of an island chain', 'it's the biggest monster in the series', 'you need to split up into a ground team and an air support team', 'it takes an entire lobby putting in concentrated effort to beat' and then you see footage of it and it genuinely looks like the worst, most boring thing in the world, because all you actually do is load into a mission, either A) hit a wall of meat that occasionally pulses full-map damage at everyone you need to panic dive, or B) sit in an airship and do legitimately nothing but press the A button to fire the ballista over and over and over, then load out of the mission after a minute or two, repeat for literally almost an hour Like literally this is a 45 minute long video and I clicked to multiple random timestamps minutes apart and they were seriously all either 'standing still aiming to the left while looking up at the same angle at Raviente's head' or 'dodging random falling rocks'. I literally can't think of a bigger disappointment in gaming than hearing about this dude vs seeing him in action.

I won't lie you're 100% right I still really enjoy fighting Ravi but despite the praise I give it's STILL a colossal Jhen/Zorah type of fight, even if he's better than both

One of my best memories with online gaming is of one occasion when i managed to reunite a group of people in Arca (the brazilian server) to hunt Ravi with me. We spent the entire saturday afternoon and early evening playing and managed to do all the three Ravis

I personally feel like Raviente walked so Kulve and Safi'jiiva could run. I got to fight it and let me tell you: THE BEST Multiplayer experience in my life the first time I hunted it. The music carries this fight for actual miles. And Beserk Raviente is one of the Monsters I desperately want to see in mainline Mh. The potential is massive. But it also could go in the complete opposite direction and be another Zorah Magdaros. One can dream right?

Laviente is not what people grind to get Ravi weapons, it's Hunter's Road Ok nevermind you were pointing out that they ARE using a Ravi weapon in this video, not necessarily related to the hunt

Yes, you can break Raviente's fangs. You need to actually attack the fangs for that though, not the head.

@@dynamo_lynn ik it's not mh wilds. As in what i mean is that MH Wilds has a new thing called Focus mode. Heard some say the GS focus mode gameplay uses some Frontier moves, wonder if the gameplay here will be for hammer in MH Wilds
