Great Smoky Mountains National Park Elk

On the last morning of our Smokies trip a couple of weeks ago, we stopped by Oconaluftee so Cindy could get some shots of the farm for possible future paintings. The elk were just finishing up breakfast and we got to watch the herd cross the river on their way to wherever it is they go after they pose for shots in the pastures next to the visitor center.
