Stu, what is happening when someone holds a note by wiggling one's finger on a fret--usually longer notes?

Enjoyable. I love coupling slides with barred chords. It always makes me smile to strum open, then hammer-on to the first fret, slide up to second fret, and reverse; with the right strums and timing, it's a jazzy riff on "Grazing In the Grass" for me, lol.

Thanks Stu, as always, you’re lessons help to build my house of ukulele playing one brick at a time. Mindful practice of incremental steps have really helped me to advance as a player.

I certainly need some help to relax my fretting hand. It often feels like I have been lifting bricks the next day. The thumb in particular. Thanks for these tips and techniques.

Much appreciated. I'm a little slow. But, I'm catching on. Let the fingers dance! Loved your little human blurb* 😊 ...don't forget to "Smile at the Hand." Stu ~ 🦋

I’m hooked on the baritone uke. Any lessons?
@UkuleleZen Жыл бұрын
Sorry Chris, no Baritone lessons yet...you can always place a capo at the 5th fret of your baritone and you'll be in Low GCEA tuning -- thanks for watching :)
